Avril Lavigne wants to act?

Lavigne has already shot a scene in the Harrison Ford movie “The Flock” and said she wants to do things “outside of music.”

All the gossip bloggers seem to be saying that Avril should stay away from acting but we might as well give her a chance! Maybe she will be better than Mariah, and Jessica Simpson and the many others who tried to make their way to the big screen!

Pure nightclub released a statement on Monday announcing that her 21st birthday party that had been planned for her has been canceled, saying,

“We support Lindsay and wish her the best as she is taking care of personal matters at this time. Due to the unique circumstances, as of this afternoon, Lindsay’s birthday party at Pure Nightclub has been canceled. We think the world of her and look forward to working with her in the future.” 

She’s due to be released from rehab soon, and so many will be watching to see how she celebrates.  Hopefully, she’ll behave herself and according to her dad Michael Lohan, she just might!  He was just quoted saying, “Lindsay has found this righteous path because she’s going to church and that’s a good sign.”  He is also relieved the party was cancelled, as he said “It was absurd and thank God she called it off.”  He gave an interview to the Insider which airs tonight.

I find it interesting how he is giving up information on his daughter’s recovery even though he and Lindsay have been estranged for quite some time, since his 2005 conviction on DUI and assault charges. Daddy dearest is a recovering alcoholic himself, yet he has the cheek to go on about his ex-wife’s parenting skills and his daughter’s need for guidance.  He told the New York Post in May, “The people out there [in Hollywood] with her are in it for the money. They want to see what they can get. She needs to go [to rehab] and my ex-wife [Dina Lohan] should go with her.”  Such fatherly advice!

Jessica seems to be getting in great shape. She is just in a tshirt and jeans but looks amazing! She has lost a bit of that weight that she gained after shooting Dukes of Hazzards.

I bet John Mayer is second guessing himself now!

Nikki Hilton became hysterical after visiting her sister in jail. I don’t get why she would have a freak out because Paris is not in their for much longer! I can see why Paris would have a mental meltdown but I am not sure why Nikki would.

Oh well that is young Hollywood for you!

Look at this dress, she looks like a copper Kleenex! You think she would have some sort of style sense. What ever happened to the simple black dress!

Check out that armpit roll. It is just so flattering on her. Seems like Tyra did lose a bit a weight! I guess she was fed up of all those fat jokes!

I guess Jessica Alba put pressure on her Agency to get rid of Paris Hilton. Her bad attitude and partying  isn’t what other actors want to be associated with. Poor Paris everyone is out to get her these days!

Is she serious? Can she not pick a name herself. The Lindsay Lohan one is so stupid! Dignity is totally taken by Hilary Duff. Joke one come on Britney get more creative. Down Boy is alright but not really because she doesn’t seem to have a lot of guys after her these days. Integrity is too much like the Dignity one.

Britney’s album title should be I’m An Idiot, Shaved Head, or Wigged Out.

Those would be funny!

Well I thought for once Britney Spears was on the right track, but people she just fell off the wagon again.

Here check it out, first of all the bandanna has to go, second that is the ugliest green dress I have seen in awhile, and it doesn’t even fit properly!  I guess Britney figures since the “It girls” are all caged up at the moment she should fill in for them.
