Beyonce had to cancel a November 1 concert in Kuala Lumpur after Muslim groups protested and the promoter — Pineapple Concerts — failed to secure a license.

Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage rules state that female performers are not allowed to show any skin from the tops of their chests to their knees.  Rumours are that she failed to comply with their dress code so the promoter did not apply for the license.

Scandalous if true, she is famous for being a diva, but… something tells me she isn’t that full of herself that she’d be disrespectful and uncooperative to the Muslim culture.

I guess Britney is back to wearing cowboy boots. I think she is going for the farm girl look, short shorts, tied up t-shirt and a little dog too!

At least her hair is looking somewhat decent!

I wish we could read Britney’s mind, because I am sure many people would like to know what goes through that head of hers.  I am wondering if she is ever going to put out that music video she filmed a while back, because I know it doesn’t take that long to edit it!

Nicole Richie decided that it would be great to walk on super high golden heels. I have never seen anything like these shoes before. I wonder if when she saw them she was like yes these will create a stir with the press and bought them. They are absolutely ridiculous.

Britney Spears really needs a manicure! She is under a lot of stress and must bite her nails until they bleed. Also take note of her fake engagement ring she is wearing. I wonder if she bought it to make herself feel loved or if she actually got it as a gift.

Poor Britney! I think AJ from the backstreet boys has a little crush on her, he is trying to reach out to the pop tart and says he knows about rough times and wants to talk to her. Brit you might have a boytoy on your hands get it together girl!

Paris Hilton is going to do something worthwhile with her life and is planning a trip to Rwanda. She told E! Online that once she is done filming her movie in Toronto, Canada, she’ll then be leaving sometime in November. She really believes she can make a difference : “I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help.”

I’m really looking forward to see what she herself plans on doing for the people there. Will she make a generous donation, or help build a new school, or hospital, or orphange? The possiblities are endless! Could Paris be the new white Oprah?!

Hopefully all those self-help books she read in prison have actually inspired her to do more for those less fortunate than she is. She’ll no doubt still bring enough comforts from the US to help her maintain her lavish life-style while in that poverty-stricken area.

Diddy’s has challenged a few ladies to a “smell-off.” He said, “I send out a challenge…I challenge all of my female counterparts that have fragrances…that my fragrance is better than theirs. I’m a man and I know how women should smell!”

Mariah Carey has responded to this challenge by saying “I heard about this competition, and I wish Puff all the best with his new fragrance, but I think we’re actually appealing to different types of women. M by Mariah Carey is about being unforgettable, not unforgivable. It’s not about a ménage à trois or a one night stand, it’s for the woman who wants the man to fall in love with her immediately, stay in love, and treat her like royalty.”

I love how Mariah is going for that royalty approach, but I think guys who buy perfume for their ladies may be willing to give Diddy’s a try!

Here is Rihanna and Ne-Yo’s hot new video for their smash hit Hate That I Love You. Rihanna looks super sexy as usual, I prefer how she has done her hair. Ne-Yo’s hat is not my style though.

Who would have thought we would get pictures of Nicole Richie pregnant in a bikini! She and boyfriend/ baby daddy are in Hawaii relaxing. I guess all that shopping and running from the paparazzi is tiring. She doesn’t really look that pregant, just as though she has eaten a bit too much.

I am not sure how long they will be there, but I am sure the paparazzi will keep us up to date on the lovebirds.

For some reason I find this picture of Jessica Simpson endearing. It may because she can’t find love and should just become best friends with Jennifer Aniston or even that she just looks absolutely adorable. It is a real shame that is of course not real. The picture is actually from the current movie she is filming called Mega Movie Star. I am not sure why she is bothering with another movie considering the last handful have all flunked at the box office. She would be better off to release a Christina Gospel or a country album.

Justin opens up to Oprah about Britney Spears, and it is actually quite sweet. He had nothing bad to say about the xpop tart!

Oprah: What do you think is going on with Britney?

Justin: I don’t know, to be honest with you. I haven’t spoken to her in years. I mean, there’s no ill will—I have nothing but love for her. It’s funny because we dated each other at a time…wow, I haven’t talked about this in a long time. It’s interesting.

Oprah: But you’ve never talked about it to me, so it’s okay.

Justin: Hey, let’s get it in, girl.

Oprah: Let’s get it in.

Justin: We were teenagers, you know?

Oprah: Yes, famous teenagers.

Justin: I think that’s basically the best way to describe what happened to us. I think she’s a great person, and I don’t know her as well as I did …. What I do know about her is she has a huge heart, and she is a great person.

Now Justin has a lot of class! It is very endearing to hear him say something nice about her when the rest of the world slams her every second of every day. No one can resist dishing the gossip to the Queen of Daytime talkshows!
