Here is Amy Winehouse back in the day… look how smooth her skin is! Quite the difference from the impetigo/crack face she currently has going on. I am actually surprised how normal Amy looks, you would never suspect such a cute girl could go so wrong. Then again you can somewhat see sadness in her eyes. I still can’t get over her smooth skin. This was way before photoshopping too!

Amy either needs to give her cat some catnip so it becomes a happy cat and stops using her as a scratching post, or she needs to seek treatment for whatever it is that ails her.  This picture of her was snapped by the paps today as she went to visit incarcerated Blake.  The wounds on her arm seem fresh, why doesn’t she wear long sleeves to cover up?  Does she want everyone to see her, or is she so out of touch that she does not realize how unhealthy she looks?

Wentz has joined diva Mary J. Blige and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan to front the Jed Foundation’s Half Of Us campaign, focusing on reducing student suicide deaths.
Wentz, Blige and Corgan sat down for interviews,where they talked about their lowest moments. The interviews appear on MTV’s college channel mtvU.

Pete confessed the following:

“I got in my car. I remember I was listening to Jeff Buckley doing Leonard Cohen’s (song) Hallelujah and sat there and took a bunch of (prescription drug) Adavan in a Best Buy (store) parking lot.
“And I called up my manager because I was, at that point, completely out of my head with Adavan. And I was talking to him and I was slurring my words, so he called my mom and my mom called me and she came and got me and we went to the hospital.
“I came home and we realised that we needed to do more than just keep (my) head above water. It’s not really about keeping your head above water, it’s about feeling all right and feeling safe in your own skin. It’s not about keeping your head above water and barely keep going.”

That sounds like a really sad memory for him to recall and reveal to others. Pete said he’s only telling the story now, because he wants to help other young people.

It’s nice to see he’s recovered and in love with Ashley. Hopefully his and the others’ stories of their experiences with depression will reach out and touch others going through some difficult times and encourage them to seek out some help.

Mariah Carey’s album cover has recently surfaced. It is actually not bad although the pink font doesn’t really match the photo. I really like the all black cover with Mariah in the white fancy dress. I definitely prefer this cover, to Janet’s scary cover. I wonder if they will revamp the font like they did with Ashlee Simpson’s cover for Bitter Sweet World.

Lindsay Lohan is set to launch her own leggings line. She had this to say to Life & Style magazine about her fav fashion accessory:
“I’m doing my own leggings line! But it’s a secret. It will be a while before it comes out, but I’m going to do it. I love leggings.”
I wonder if the reason why she loves them so much is that when she is wearing leggings she doesn’t have to do the spray on tanning sessions as much, nor does she need to worry about the paparazzi trying to get crotch shots as she is exiting out of her rides!

Britney Spears and Mel Gibson apparently had a dinner together on Saturday at the Romanov Russian Restaurant & Lounge in Studio City. Strange pair? Kind of, but Mel Gibson did a break down awhiel back, maybe he is bonding with Brit with the whole ‘I know what you are going through’ sort of thing. Nicole Richie’s big tits are really working for her as she strutted her stuff at the opening of DCMA. She doesn’t look anorexic at all! DCMA is a clothing line owned by her hubby and brother Benji. I am loving her new look, she should get knocked up again to keep those babies. I wonder what Nicole thinks about Paris and Benji… because Paris was always known as a boyfriend stealer. This is like the next best getting his twin bro.

Paris Hilton is addressing the issue that her and Benji really seem like a hoax. She called into the Ryan Seacrest show to set the story straight.

“I feel very safe and secure. He’s a great guy. He’s been my friend for a couple of years now, and we’re really happy. This is not for Pop Fiction. It’s not a hoax!”

Isn’t that just so sweet? At first I wanted to vomit but I am starting to come around to this new couple. Still can we really trust Paris’ word? For now I will just so I can watch their relationship bloom *gag*

In the BBC special “One Life: Rock Star Parents” Mitch Winehouse confesses to a longtime affair he had with a co-worker and the effect it had on Amy. He told Us Weekly the affair began just after Amy was born and that it was an open secret in their house. “The children used to call Jane ‘Daddy’s work wife,’” he says. Can you imagine?
Amy was 10 years old when her dad left her mum and their family to marry his girlfriend: “There was not really a negative response from Amy, but she definitely became a lot more independent. Perhaps deep down she felt her parents were splitting up, she could not rely on them to stay together and that it was about time she learned to look after herself.”
He went on to add: “It is easy for me to say it is my fault, and that had I been a better parent, this would not have happened,” he says. “But who knows whether it would or not?”

Paris Hilton and her new lover boy Benji madden hit it up for some random event. Paris wore a firetruck engine red dress, and looked semi decent except for her odd hairstyle. Benji on the other hand looked exactly like he always does (like a little troll). I was thinking that maybe this isn’t actually true… that they were doing this whole act for that show with Ashton Kutcher. I think that would be ridiculously funny. Actually I could see them starting their relationship for that reason, and then ending up together forever but in that case we would probably never know.
