Take a listen to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin allegedly telling someone to ‘shut up.’ That’s why she is the Queen, because she can tell some fool to shut it and continue on performing without missing a beat!

Actually, I do believe this is an altered clip, as she only has a slight voice break at the end of the note. I think someone else added the “shut-up” for the clip, but that’s just my opinion.

For those of you who don’t know who she is….

‘Aretha is not only the definitive female soul singer of the ’60s, but one of the most influential and important voices in the HISTORY of popular music.’

She was the first woman inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and has 17 Top Ten pop hits, 20 #1 R&B hits, 15 gold singles, and many Top 40 hits etc.

The woman is a legend.

If it is for reals… I’m amazed at how well she hears considering, the music, the crowd, being behind bullet proof glass!

Joaquin Phoenix has shocked his movie fans by quitting his acting career to become a rapper.

Check out the video clip of his wacked out performance.

“This is me saying this is who I am. This is my story,” Phoenix told People at Las Vegas club LAVO.

“After all the years of reading scripts and reading lines, this is my chance to do something straight from the heart and put it out there,” he said. “When I was young I liked punk rock music but then I discovered rap. I love the storytelling aspect of hip-hop.”

He’s been appearing in a disheveled state and has been described as looking, ‘bizarre’, ‘unkempt’, and ‘worse-for-wear’ in recent weeks. The former hottie has grown a beard and his hair into a shabby style.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Casey Affleck, brother of film actor Ben Affleck is directing a documentary about Joaquin Phoenix’s transition from actor to musician.

His brother River Pheonix died from a drug overdose.

In this video Joaquin Pheonix can be seen falling from the stage.

Gwen Stefani and hubby Gavin Rossdale took their boys Kingston and Zuma to an outing at Fred Segal in West Hollywood on Saturday.

Wonder what the bracelet is around Zuma’s wrist? On his right wrist it looks like he has a medical ID or a name bracelet.

The clothes she has the kids wearing don’t look comfortable, but she probably wants them to be GQ smoothies even at this age. I know they are artists and have artistic tastes in clothes, but why not let the boys be comfy when they are small?

Gavin recently talked about how he’s still practicing his tennis game even with the birthl of Zuma, saying:

“I’ve got to stay good for him. Being a musician, unless you’re doing promo, your day really doesn’t start until 12 or 1 p.m. It may go on until 1 a.m., but you have the mornings. So most mornings, five or six days a week, I’m doing stuff!”

Lindsay Lohan will be the new face of the Italian clothing label, Fornarina. She was chosen for the new Spring/Summer ad campaign, that was shot in an L.A. mid-century architectural mansion.

Fornarina proudly refers to Lohan as,

“the Hollywood celebrity testimonial of the brand. Young, beautiful, eclectic, with great talent and a great personality, Lindsay Lohan immediately appeared as one of the few in the show-biz able to represent the glamorous style of Fornarina.”

If you want the scoop on Fergie and Josh Duhamel’s estimated $1 million wedding, check out the latest issue of Us Weekly as it has an 8 page spread with all the details.

The magazine quotes Fergie who says that their special day was:

“magical, ethereal”

Josh said that it:

“incorporated both our personalities.”

“Lots of nature was important to Josh,” celeb planner Mindy Weiss says. “I knew I could bling it up for Fergie.”

After the ceremony, the bride’s first words to her guests:

”I’m married, b—-es!’”

Here is a picture of the wedding invitations by Lehr & Black via People:

“[The invites were] a reflection of both of their personalities,” says the LA business’s Ellen Black. “Fergie loves bling and has a love for unicorns and Josh loves nature. The artwork had leaves and hidden details like a unicorn and the invites were decorated with crystals.”

Their family and friends were not allowed to take any photos so … does this mean they sold their story to the magazine? Radaronline.com was the only website to post live updates from the traditional wedding ceremony at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu Calif. last Saturday.

A guest told the New York Daily News that:

Fergie and Josh raised annoyed eyebrows at their “airport-style security.” The guests were frisked, ushered through metal detectors and not allowed to bring their cell phones, cameras or “anything” with them, said the source. After they’d emptied their purses and pockets they were bussed to a “private ranch-style estate in Malibu.”

Lindsay Lohan released a new statement to Life & Style to ‘address’ the rumors still buzzing that she and Samantha Ronson have broken up. I see what she’s doing. She complains about the invasion of her privacy but insists on making statements or putting things on her blog. She needs to get a decent acting job, use whatever talent she has left and make a ‘comeback’ because this luv affair between them is stale.

She says:

“We never broke up,” says Lohan. “People don’t have to be together every second. It’s healthy to miss someone, and if you’re in it for the long run, it’s good to know that.”

Apparently some ‘source’ who is close with both girls told the magazine that they are:

‘dialing things down’ in an effort to save their relationship and confirmed that Lindsay did move out of the house they were sharing together.

The snitch says, “They needed space and time. They’ve been on top of each other with living and work and life. Lindsay’s now in a new house around the corner from Sam. It’s going to allow them some space.”

The source added:

“They break up and make up all the time. There are a lot of speed bumps in this relationship — but that’s part of the attraction.”

Here they were doing a public display of togetherness. They went and had sushi together.

Gwen Stefani and hubby Gavin had another date night this past Saturday night at Madeo’s in LA. They look so happy together.

This was the second evening in a row without the kids as they were also at an event, the Feeding America party with Dan Glickman held in L.A. on Friday. It was a cocktail party hosted by David Arquette and many celebs were there to lend their support.

Here they are checking out Shepard Fairey’s new art he created to help spread awareness about hunger.

Here are some quotes from Gavin from an interview he had recently where he talked about working out, and how he wants to pass down and share his love of tennis with his sons:

* On why he doesn’t work out with Gwen: “We don’t work out together. It’s like you’ve got to keep the romance alive. No one wants to be sweating like a pig – that would be me. She just glows, clearly.”
* On whether he’ll teach his children tennis: “Yeah, of course. Of course. As they wish, you know. As they wish. But it’d be kind of fun. I suppose you always want your kids to do something that in some way you can help them with. And I definitely can help [Kingston] with that. So that would be fun. I mean, it would be so sad if he took up ice hockey because I’d be useless. What would I do? Who doesn’t want to contribute? There are a few things that I could help him with. About four or five things, and outside of that he’s on his own.”
* On what he could help teach his sons: “Music, tennis, football – I could really help him with football. And good books, things like that. And good art. And good wine. And the right beer to drink. And good restaurants. Good bands, obviously. After that… theater – I couldn’t help him that much. And you know what? I’d learn ice hockey. I’d figure it out.”
