A civil case has been filed against Sharon Stone but the details have been veiled in secrecy. The case has however been unsealed last Friday after queries by media outlets about the records of the said case. Judge Maureen Duffy-Lewis said it was sealed in error.
The oh-so-secret civil case turned out to be a dispute filed by lawyer William P. Jacobson last November regarding $107,000 in legal fees. Details of the case including the complaint and the transcripts have been released by court officials after a reporter from City News Service heard about the case and inquired why the records were sealed.
