Robin Wright Penn has opened up about her split from husband Sean Penn, saying: “I know what I don’t want… I have no regrets.”

The 43-year-old actress made her comments in US magazine More, which went to press before the couple announced their plans to divorce – for the third time in less than two years after two attempts to reconcile.

Wright Penn, who has been married to the actor since 1996, says: “I hit that crossroad a while ago – for Robin [pointing her hand at herself] the ‘I know what I don’t want’ was flashing neon lights.

“I have no regrets, I, we have two amazing children we raised together.”

For the time being it seems like the end of the road for the Penns – the couple who split up and got back together twice before they even walked down the aisle.

In December 2007, they both filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. But they withdrew their positions four months later – only for Sean Penn to file for a legal separation earlier this year.

The two-time Oscar winner then withdrew his filing in May, calling it an “arrogant mistake.”

But in August the couple announced that their plans to divorce were back on.

Now the mother-of-two says she is on a new path, ready to reignite her acting career and even to move from San Francisco – her home for more than a decade – back to Los Angeles.

Demi Moore’s new movie has reportedly received funding from an India-based fund.

Vistaar Religare Film Fund is said to have invested in The Joneses, which is directed by Derrick Borte and will premier at the Toronto International Film Festival in September as a “special presentation”.

Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed said the move is an example of how India is emerging as a key player in the global cinema market and is becoming more influential in Hollywood.

The movie is about a “perfect” family who move to a posh surburban area but fail to come clean when asked by neighbours why they moved there.

Jennifer Garner has revealed that she cleans the toilets at her daughter Violet’s preschool when she is not posing on the red carpet.

The 37-year-old mother-of-two says that she gets her hands dirty when she and husband Ben Affleck stay in his hometown of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

“I fell hard for this place,” the actress said. “At this point, I know all the mums at the playground. Honestly, I fit right in.

“I’ve never been one to paint myself up Hollywood-style – I’m just not good at that. I don’t have a healthy dose of that kind of vanity – although I wish I did, because then you know how to be cute when you need to be cute.

“On the other hand, I’m not as good at the whole hippie mum thing as the mums I’ve met here [in Cambridge], although I do scrub the potty at Violet’s cooperative prep-school.”

Garner shoots down the myth that she is an action-type superhero like the secret agent she played in Alias.

“It always makes me laugh when people think of me as ‘action’ because it’s just so not me,” she says. “When I hear that, I’m like ‘Wow – we really do only know what we know about someone.’

“To them, I say: ‘Great, go ahead, knock yourself out.’ They don’t know that all I wanted to do in college was Shakespeare.”

Model and TV presenter Tyra Banks is to ditch her weave and embrace her “natural hair” for the next season of her show.

The 35-year-old former model has her own chat show The Tyra Banks Show and she revealed in a press statement that the fifth season of the show will be taking a more natural stance.

She said in a statement: “This season on The Tyra Show we’re taking it to the next level and getting more real than ever before by encouraging women everywhere to own and rock what they’ve got and be proud!”

Tyra added in the statement: “For the season five premiere, I will be doing just that – no fake hair, I’m rocking my REAL hair. This will all be going down on September 8, 2009, which we’re declaring National Real Hair Day!

“We welcome everyone to go natural with me!”

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole says she has toughened up for her role as judge in the new series of the X Factor.

This year will be the 26-year-old’s second series as a judge on the hit show, and Cheryl admitted she has found the change in format with a live audience at auditions difficult.

She said: “I’d just found my feet, and then they change the format. But i’ve really enjoyed the new process and I’m more experienced as a judge – and in saying no.

“I struggled last year in saying no to people. This year, I’m more able to say no to people that don’t have what we’re looking for.”

Last year, Cheryl won the contest with Alexandra Burke, and she is confident she can win again.

It is thought she has been given the male 16-24 category.

Sources very close to Paula Abdul are saying that the beloved judge from American Idol is working to find her way back to the reality TV talent show. The insider says to not count Paula out just yet as she is reportedly already in talks about having her return and trying to come to a deal that makes sense. They are insisting though that her departure from the show wasn’t a publicity stunt but it was definitely a negotiating tactic. With Victoria Beckham’s guest judging at the Denver auditions being a dud, they’re better off with paying Paula what she wants than losing more money over other loser judges.

Quentin Tarantino has revealed how he landed Brad Pitt for his new movie – six bottles of wine and a suspicious "smoking apparatus".

The legendary director says he already had a hunch that he and Pitt would get on great.

But, as a way of making him sign on to star in edgy Nazi-hunting movie Inglorious Basterds, Tarantino admits he got Brad drunk, with a "smoking apparatus" to add to the buzz.

"We kind of had an idea that we would like it," the Kill Bill director said. "Whether this love affair is going to happen, it has to be right. So I wrote this part and thought, ‘I think this is the one’. I flew to France to where he lives and had a big talk."

Told that rumour has it he got Brad drunk, the director stressed: "You have to understand something – Brad lives on a vineyard. I did not get him drunk – it’s his wine! We’re popping rose and we’re knocking it back … and then a smoking apparatus of some sort found its way on the table…

"Brad woke up the next morning and he’s like, ‘Ugggh’ – and he sees the smoking apparatus and starts counting the empty bottles of wine. There were six. That’s how you get the most sought-after guy on Planet Earth. You go to HIS vineyard and let him pop the cork."

The Ugly Truth star Katherine Heigl said it was “really exhausting” filming a scene in her new movie where she had to fake an orgasm.

Katherine, 30, stars in the new movie alongside Scottish hunk Gerard Butler, 39.

In one particular scene, Katherine has a “When Harry Met Sally” moment when her character has an orgasm after mistakenly wearing a pair of vibrating pants to dinner and the control ends up in the wrong hands.

Talking about filming the scene, she said: “Oh, my God, it was a nightmare. It was really exhausting – legs dancing under the table and all the tensing-up of the body.

“By the end of the day, I felt like I’d run a marathon. No one wants to orgasm 35 times a day!”

The 45-year-old actress recently had a naked scene in new movie The Proposal alongside Ryan Reynolds, 32, and she admitted it was getting into exercise at a young age that has kept her in shape.

She said: "I have to say, Helga Bullock – a very strict German woman – forced me into gymnastics and dance at a very young age.

"I hated her for it, then continued to do other athletics and now I am thankful for what she started because it’s something I can keep doing for the rest of my life."
She added: "Look, it’s like ebb and flow, I gain 20 pounds, I lose 20 pounds, I am a fat cow, I am too thin.

"As long as I’m healthy and I feel good, I’m happy and I am lucky that my mother instilled something early on that’s kind of still sticking together."

Heavily pregnant Nicole Richie wakes up partner Joel Madden in the early hours demanding burgers, according to reports.

The mum-to-be, who already has 18-month-old daughter Harlow Winter Kate with the Good Charlotte rocker, is due to give birth for the second time within the coming weeks.

And though she’s not craving bizarre snacks, Madden says the reality TV star is experiencing urgent hunger pangs at the most inconvenient times.

"It’s not so much the craziness of the craving, it’s just when she craves it – it’s usually about two or three in the morning, and that’s on me," Madden, 30, told People.com.

"I’m the one that has to run out – either go make her a sandwich or go to In-N-Out or whatever she wants at any given time.

"It’s not unheard of stuff she wants, it’s just that when she wants it is inconvenient for me."

Joking aside, the musician says he couldn’t be happier to be adding to the family.

"We’re very, very blessed," he added. "We’ve already had one healthy kid, and that’s all you can ask for as a parent, healthy kids. This [pregnancy] is going great."
