Kate Beckinsale showed off her “giant hands” that look like they belong to “a large man or a transsexual” on a US chat show.
The Brit held her hands up against host Conan O’Brien’s to prove just how big they really are.
O’Brien thought Kate was exaggerating when she explained how her big hands help her handle guns in her on-screen action roles.
But he was left stunned as Kate showed him her hands are even bigger than his.
Kate told him: “I have got the hands of an actual large man or a transsexual I think.
“I’ve got way big hands. You’re at least 17ft tall. I’ve got bigger hands than you, for sure.”
The audience gasped as Kate – who also used her big hands to check she hadn’t suffered a wardrobe malfunction – proved her point by going palm to palm with O’Brien.
She laughed: “Check that!”
And O’Brien admitted: “Those are giant hands you have.”
Kate covered her throat and joked: “Don’t look at my Adam’s apple.”
She told O’Brien: “Evidently, in order to be very good with a gun it’s very good to have big hands and I haven’t found a use for them yet. They just sort of flop there.”
