I’ll Dish It, and the Celebrities can Eat It Up
A stalker whose victims included the widow of late Crocodile Hunter TV star Steve Irwin has been jailed for a year.
Alexander Duncan Davidson, 71, sent a letter to Terri Irwin, telling her to “get over” his death and threatening her daughter Bindi, 11. It also said he was “sick of seeing her” in the media.
Davidson, from Melbourne, Australia, left his address and phone number at the bottom of the letter.
When police asked him why he sent it, he replied: “I think she should get a life and move on.”
Melbourne Magistrates’ Court was told he was a “very unusual man” with little remorse. Davidson, who has four previous stalking convictions, admitted harassment.
