Hollywood actress Hilary Swank has said she has never “courted fame” and doesn’t consider herself a celebrity.
Hilary, 35, who has starred in movies such as Million Dollar Baby, said that she loves her job but the intrusion by the paparazzi isn’t ‘enjoyable’.
She said: “I have never courted fame and I don’t think I have ever been regarded as a celebrity. Of course, I do get followed by the paparazzi, but they would follow any actor because that’s their job.
“It’s not something I enjoy, but I don’t get bothered too much. The thing is that I love my job. I love being an actor.
“And I have had to come to terms with the fact that doing this – I suppose I must admit that that’s being a celebrity – is part of that job.”
