Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she suffered from post-partum depression after the birth of her son Moses in 2006.

“It was debilitating,” Paltrow said. “I just couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me and why I was so down and disconnected and sort of outside my body,” the Oscar-winning actress admitted in an interview with Extra.

It was Paltrow’s husband, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, who helped her acknowledge what she was going through.

“My husband actually was like, ‘You’re not OK. What’s going on?’ – and then it was like a burst of a bubble, and I realised there was something wrong. Then I started to deal with it.”

The couple have an older child, a daughter named Apple.

Heidi Klum has explained why she and husband Seal decorate their bedroom with naked photos of themselves.

The supermodel appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday when she made the rude confession.

Klum said when she was getting a fitting at her home, a visitor saw the nude photos in Klum’s “private bedroom” and sold the story to the papers, “which is mean”.

“And that is how this whole thing started about our semi-nudey, artsy photos that we have,” Klum added.

Defending why the photos exist, Klum told the host: “They were not for anyone to see.

“It’s not like we’re showing them to everybody. They’re in our bedroom.”

Klum then asked DeGeneres: “Don’t you have beautiful photos of you and, you know, Portia?” to which the chat show queen said no.

Julia Roberts has been named the Most Beautiful Person in the world, according to reports.

The Pretty Woman star, 42, topped the People magazine list for the fourth time.

“She’s as beautiful as ever,” the film’s director, Garry Marshall, told the publication.

“She’s much more centered and calm now and not so stressed. She is quite the mum – very nurturing.”

It is the 12th time that Roberts, the new face of Lancôme cosmetics, has been named one of the world’s 100 Most Beautiful people by the American magazine.

The mum-of-three, who lives in New Mexico with husband Danny Moder, 41, said her family keeps her grounded.

“Looking at my family is like a deep, cleansing breath,” she told People.

Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock has received an apology letter from one of her husband Jesse James’s alleged mistresses.

According to The Sun newspaper, stripper Melissa Smith faxed the note to Bullock’s agent this weekend. In the note, 35-year-old Melissa says she is “deeply sorry” and even offers to meet Bullock, 45, who is now said to be considering divorcing the 41-year-old philandering bike mechanic.

The note adds: “My actions of engaging with a married man are unforgivable.

“Nothing I can say will take back the hurt I caused. From the bottom of my heart I hope you accept my apology.”

Fashionista Sarah Jessica has a new job – as a museum tour guide. The Sex and the City star has been tapped by New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for her fashion knowledge.

Parker provides the voice for the museum’s audio guide for the annual Costume Institute’s exhibit.

This year’s exhibit, which opens on May 5, is titled “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity”.

“Because of Sex and the City, she is so much associated with New York and with America, and with using fashion as a way to shape identity,” said Andrew Bolton, the institute’s curator.

You would expect that a singer of 63 would resign herself to Caesar’s Palace for the rest of her working career… even if that singer is Cher. But you would be wrong. It looks like after Cher’s contract at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas ends, the singer is planning on doing another tour. The cast list for Woody Allen’s next project, titled Midnight In Paris, has been revealed.

Allen has confirmed the involvement of the French first lady and former supermodel Carla Bruni.

The film will be a romantic comedy, about a family spending time in the City of Light, The Hollywood Reporter says.

Also starring are Owen Wilson, Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates.

Allen’s most recently completed film, You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger, will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels has confessed she fears how having a baby would change her famous physique.

“I can’t handle doing that to my body,” Michaels said in an interview with Women’s Health, Hollywood Life reports.

The 36-year-old trainer is renowned for her tough approach to fitness and diet when it comes to whipping contestants on The Biggest Loser into better shape.

But that doesn’t mean the host of NBC’s new show Losing It With Jillian does not want to have children, adding “I’m going to adopt”.
