New Moon actress Kristen Stewart has signed up to star in a movie adaptation of novel On The Road.
The 19-year-old star will appear alongside Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund in the adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s cult novel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The book was first published in 1957 and was a bestseller around the world.
The movie adaptation is set to start filming in August and it will be directed by Walter Salles, who was behind the popular movie, The Motorcycle Diaries.
Stewart will also be filming the fourth movie in The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, later this year in October.
The third flick, Eclipse, is due out in July, which will give her enough time to promote the movie before shooting starts on Salles’ new movie.
