Her Twilight co-stars turned the Breaking Dawn wrap party into a birthday celebration for the famously shy actress although she insisted that she didn’t want the occasion to be about her. Chaz Bono has revealed that he’d love to star on Broadway. Despite being eliminated from Dancing with the Stars this week, Cher’s son said he wants to take his new-found skills to the next level. “I really had fun dancing and I was a lot better than I thought I would be,” the 42-year-old told Us Weekly. “I’d do Broadway in a hot second! Hollywood star Brad Pitt is reportedly set to appear alongside Michael Fassbender and Chiwetel Ejiofor in director Steve McQueen’s story of a freed black man who was tricked into slavery. Twelve Years A Slave is based on Solomon Northup’s 1853 autobiography, according to Screen Daily. The 47-year-old Tree of Life actor is producing the movie through his Plan B production company, and has been developing the project for years, but it’s not yet known what role he will take. The film will tell the story of Northup, who was married and living in New York when he was lured to Washington by a job offer only to be kidnapped and put in a slave pen...

I Don’t Know How She Does It star Busy Philipps said she finds motherhood relaxing. The 32-year-old actress is mum to daughter Birdie Leigh, three, and said she has changed since becoming a mum. She said to Parenting magazine: “I used to care a lot about what I looked like in public or what people thought of me. I care at least 40 per cent less now.” She added: “I want Bird to see her mom as a woman who is confident and real; not someone who’s always trying too hard. “I still like to dress up and get fancy from time to time, but it’s okay to be sweaty and without makeup at the grocery store… “The bigger part, to me, is being Birdie’s mum, Marc [Silverstein's] wife, and how I’ve worked very hard to grow the past 10 or so years.”

Actress Katherine Heigl said she’s waiting for her friends to have kids so her daughter Naleigh has some friends to play with. The movie star was recently at the Elle Women in Hollywood celebration in Beverly Hills and spoke about being a mum to three-year-old daughter Naleigh. She told the LA Times: “I don’t actually have a ton of friends with kids, it’s really weird. Naleigh doesn’t really have a lot of friends, it’s sad. “We literally had to put her in pre-school so she could make some friends and socialise.”

Actress Kate Bosworth looks pale and mysterious in a new short film directed by Stephanie Di Gusto. In the slightly spooky movie shot for French fashion brand Vanessa Bruno, The Horse Whisperer star cartwheels onto the set and stands with a white horse. Twilight star Nikki Reed’s wedding dress reportedly had 100 diamond buttons. The 23-year-old recently tied the knot with musician Paul McDonald, 27, and it’s claimed she had bridal jewellery brand Tacori create their wedding bands and her engagement ring as well as Reed’s gown itself. Tacori’s Michelle Adorjan told Us Weekly that Reed went for an ivory white dress with a ’40s classic glamour silhouette’ and added: “It flows back into a 72-inch train, about six feet.” The back of the dress then featured 100 diamond buttons on it. Adorjan added: “Instead of a traditional, silk wrap button, we did diamond buttons! A little over 100 carats just on the buttons! But it’s simple and beautiful.”

Hollywood star Orlando Bloom says his priorities have changed since becoming a father. The 34-year-old recently had his first child with wife supermodel Miranda Kerr, 28, and he says their nine-month-old son Flynn is the joy of his life. Orlando told British newspaper The Sun: “There’s no time for anything other than what you feel really is important. Everything comes into focus. There was all that other nonsense you used to spend time worrying about, then, hang on a second, I’ve got this three-hour block here before I’m going to get baby puke on me. Kristin Cavallari has written her last blog after leaving Dancing With the Stars and said she is ‘extremely grateful’ for the experience. The 24-year-old former Hills star was competing with Mark Ballas up until October 4 and wrote her last blog for the show a week after getting kicked off. According to Access Hollywood, she said: “Well, as you may have heard, Mark and I went home last week. I’m so sad it’s already over but extremely grateful for this incredible experience! “I’ve had the time of my life and wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

Helen Hunt, Aaron Paul and Maggie Grace have all joined the cast of new movie Decoding Annie Parker. The three stars will appear opposite Samantha Morton and Christina Hendricks in the new movie, which will start shooting in Los Angeles at the end of October, according to Variety. The film is being directed by Steven Bernstein and the script has been co-written by him and Adam Bernstein. It follows the story of Parker, a breast-cancer patient who is trying everything to solve the mystery behind her illness. The film is based on a true story and was first put together by Bernstein and Clark Peterson, who is producing.
