The singer is currently working on her upcoming LP but she seems to be worried that her fan base might not find it as pleasing as her previous material. This is what Adele was kind enough to admit about her insecurities: “I’m a bit scared. Obviously there are new avenues that I want to go down with the sound and I don’t want to leave behind the fans who might not like the new sound I am going for, so I’m a bit wary of that. I’m writing it slowly but surely. I have a producer but I don’t want anyone to know who it is until the record is done, in case it flops.” From this we must assume that this particular producer might not have such a good reputation since Adele is so reluctant to mention who it is. And whatever happened to the old concept of “you can’t please everybody”? It probably got lost under the tons of money the industry keeps pumping out of this “art”.

Lilly Allen is finished with making music records, according to her new blog.
The singer has written on her anti-piracy website that she will not make a follow-up to this year’s hit CD It’s Not Me, It’s You.
She recently revealed she would be starring in a stage production of Neil LaBute’s Reasons To Be Pretty and would not “record and tour again for a while”.
Now, writing on her It’s Not Alright blog, she said she would not be profiting from any change in copyright legislation as she is finished with recording music.
She wrote: “Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record (applause).
“I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade.”
She added: “The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I’m concerned, so I don’t (at this point) stand to profit from legislation.
“Except future purchases of previously recorded material (which wont be much).”

Susan Boyle will allegedly be covering a Madonna song on her upcoming debut album. The song ‘You’ll See’ supposedly holds some very special meaning for the Britain’s Got Talent singer as it was the song she would use in her auditions prior to her success. A source said “Susan chose it herself – it’s a song she has loved for years…She sang it at auditions for TV shows and music contests when she used to be cruelly turned away by people At the end, when she was sometimes reduced to tears, she used to say, ‘You’ll See’. And she’s proof she can do it now as one of the most famous women in the world.”

Black Eyed Peas ‘The E.N.D.’ Lands At #1 On The Billboard 200 Chart
Black Eyed Peas’ “The E.N.D.” bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 304,000 — the hip-pop act’s best sales week ever. It’s also the first No. 1 album for the group, which had previously gone as high as No. 2. Its last set, 2005’s “Monkey Business,” bowed in the runner-up slot with a then-best 291,000. It had the unfortunate luck to come out the same week as Coldplay’s “X&Y,” which kept the Peas’ at bay when it started at No. 1 with 737,000. -via Billboard.com
