Kelly Clarkson has shed some pounds (but not all of them)… she is looking way better than she did a year ago!

The original American Idol is actually working on her fourth album. After her last album disaster she has many collaborators including Sam Watters, Louis Biancaniello and Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic). I a surprised she didn’t get Timbaland… to help her out. I guess his fame is slowly fizzling. He has produced a lot of songs but only a slim few made it. (Nelly, JT, Onerepublic, Kerri Hilson)…

American Idol’s sweetie David Archuleta gave an interview to Seventeen and one of the highlights from it was a question about his first kiss. David answered, “I haven’t had a first kiss.”

So adorable that he was honest enough to admit it! His fans lovingly refer to him as “Archie” so I can only imagine the hearts that must be fluttering over the fact that their adorable idol doesn’t have a girlfriend.

“Hey guys!

Tomorrow’s our first show!! I have to admit I’m a little nervous, but I’m way excited at the same time. We’ve been having rehearsals each day just getting ready for the big day, and everyone sounds great. Last night after the rehearsal Kristy Lee, Chikezie, Cook, Jason and his family, Carly and I went go karting and it was sooo much fun lol. At first I was kinda like eh, I don’t know if I should go or not, I should get some rest and stuff. But Kristy Lee pushed me into going and now I want to go again.

Also on Sunday my cousin and his wife came up to visit, which was cool to see because they’ve both been in the military and busy. We were able to just hang out for a little bit and went to church. Anyway that’s all for now.

Nigel Lythgoe producer of American Idol is speaking out about Jeff Archuleta’s ban from being backstage. Rumor has it that David’s dad was meddling with David’s acts. He apparently made David sing a verse of “Beautiful Girls” by Sean Kingston in the middle of David’s song “Stand By Me”.

“‘Banished’ is a terrible word, isn’t it? It sounds like we’re in some far-off kingdom. He has been asked not to participate in the choice of music with David or be in the room when David is working out his routines that he wants to sing. He’s fine to be in the studio, nothing wrong with that. We just want David to be able to be free like everybody else to get on and do what they want to do.”

According to EntertainmentWeekly.com, American Idol star Katharine Mcphee has left her label, RCA Records. She has only released one album with the label. RCA confirms she’s no longer on with them and said “Katharine is going to record her next album on her own.”.

Katharine must be  having trouble with her label to leave so soon. I am getting the feeling that some of these labels rip the stars off. It seems as though it is cheaper for the star to manage their own albums and hire their own staff. I hope Katharine does well whether she signs on with a new label or starts her own.

Carrie Underwood was recently dumped by her football player boyfriend. Why the hell would he do that, she is adorable, even drunk as f*ck she still looks amazing. She apparently has now hooked up with the guy from Gossip Girls (Chance Crawford).  Here is what she recent told PEOPLE

“I’ve met him and he seems like a really nice guy. He’s got cool hair, he’s a nice height and he just has beautiful blue eyes.”

According to an eyewitness: The pair stopped by Manhattan’s Marquee nightclub last Friday, then popped into Gramercy Park Hotel’s hip Rose Bar on Saturday night. At one point, they were holding hands, off to the side of the table, like they didn’t want people to see,” says an observer.”

Rumors are circulating regardin Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis. They were caught holding hands and chattering happily together in a store. Here is the report:
A TMZ spy spotted the “Idol” finalists “holding hands” while shopping at a Fry’s Electronics store near L.A. We’re told that they wandered around the store, unmolested, and seemed “happy” together. Blake was overheard saying to the 17-year-old Jordin, “We should call your mom.”
