Leona Lewis is pictured here getting handcuffed by a police officer on the set of her latest music video “I Will Be” . The pop rock ballad will be produced by Dr. Luke and was co-written by Avril Lavigne and Max Martin. It was filmed in Brooklyn on Friday.
This will be Leona’s third single off her debut album, Spirit.
Chace Crawford, one of the stars of Gossip Girl will make a cameo in the video. A source told People how the two of them met:
“Chace went to London a couple months ago for meetings and to promote Gossip Girl. He went to a party and ended up meeting Leona. [The two] hit it off and talk every once in a while and have become fast friends… A couple weeks ago Leona called Chace and asked if he would be in her next video. He obviously said yes.”
The song was originally recorded by Avril a couple of years ago and is included on the Limited Edition version of her third studio album, The Best Damn Thing.

Avril Lavigne’s two year marriage to Deryck Whibley, may be going through a rough patch. While she is on tour Deryck has been out and about partying and was even seen looking kind of cozy with another chica. He supposedly was holding another woman’s hand at the famous happening celebrity hangout Villa. If they were just friends, or maybe relatives… was it necessary to hold hands inside the club? I doubt the paparazzi were getting too close inside the building!

On Oct. 2 – the same night Avril was performing in Lijang, China – Deryck was spotted out with a statuesque brunette beauty.
“It seemed as if Deryck and his woman couldn’t keep their hands off of each other,” an insider at Villa nightclub told The Enquirer.
“They huddled at a private table, and Deryck had his arm around her and was holding her hand.”
The Ontario natives – who wed in July 2006 – have been virtually leading separate lives, according to the insider.
The two have tried relying on long distance phone calls and e-mailing to hold their troubled relationship together. But while 24-year-old Avril has been touring the world, Deryck has back-burned his career in favor of partying, say sources.

Avril Lavine has earned $2 million bucks from people watching the video to her hit single GIRLFRIEND online.
The promotion has recorded over 100 million hits on YouTube.com since it was posted on the internet by RCA record company executives last year.
Every time the video is viewed, an ad is played and the singer receives a fee, reports Gigwise.com.
Isn’t that interesting? I remember the controversy surrounding her fans being asked to keep refreshing the page to rack up the hits to the site…. looks like it paid off big time for her.

“Hey Guys,
I am at home right now taking it easy. I have been sick this whole tour, and now I have lost my voice. I have never canceled a show in my whole career and just had to for the first time ever. This sux!
I am so sorry! I have been on the road for 60 days straight. I have had the flu 3 times and I never get sick, it just keeps going around. I think I am just run down. I just played 4 shows in a row in Texas (which is a lot for the vocals) and woke up in Vegas Tuesday with no voice. I thought I was gonna have to cancel that show, but I made it through…..barely! I still went on stage in Vegas and gave it my all, but unfortunately its interfering with my throat now. I had to eliminate songs.
I woke up yesterday and knew I wouldn’t be able to sing last night. My voice is so shot. We drove home yesterday and I went to my throat doctor. He stuck a camera down my throat….ewwww, I gagged!!! It was kinda funny though…..he said I have “Acute Laryngitis”.
So, um, yeah, that sux. I was supposed to play a show in San Diego yesterday and was supposed to perform on Jay Leno tomorrow and go live with Ryan Seacrest in the today, but I had to cancel that too. I’m at home resting my voice for 2 days and hope to be back out soon. Thank you for understanding. And once again, I sincerely apologize.

Rumor has it that Avril was out partying in Vegas hard core, and that is the real reason why she canceled a show. Others speculated that it wasn’t ‘worth’ her being there because of her poor ticket sales.

Hilary Duff told the Allure magazine about her tiff back in the day with Avril: “I said something about about how she didn’t like her fans dressing like her, and how she should appreciate that because it’s a compliment. She called me a goody-goody.”
I think Hilary is one of the nicest girls in Hollywood. Even though I don’t know her at all, she just seems like she has a level head on her shoulders. It is odd that Allure magazine would ask Hilary about Avril because that fight was so long ago. Poor Hil, she got in a b*tch fight with Lindsay and Avril all in the same few years.
I think it is because Avril and Lindsay are hating that Hilary Duff has such loyal fans. ; )

Avril Lavigne posed for Maxim magazine and might I say that she looks super sexy. There is a lot of people out there who do not like Avril due to her attitude, but if Avril played her cards right and was a bit sweeter she could almost go from pop-rock to just straight pop star. She really has the look, and no one would have ever known back when she had dark straight her. I think Avril has come along way since she began her career. She must be semi sweet to at least her hubby or he would have dumped her a** by now!
