The singer is apparently very keen on getting a part in the remake of the classic movie… so much that she is apparently begging the guys from Disney for the opportunity. Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper reads the following about Beyonce’s new acting ambition: “Beyonce has asked her representatives to persuade Disney to develop the show into a film vehicle for her. If this comes to pass, she would take on, in musical form, the part Whoopi Goldberg creates in the 1992 ‘Sister Act’ film, although the stage version moves the action from the West Coast to Philadelphia.” Oh, so it’s Beyonce’s representatives that will do all of the work. And she wants the movie to be designed especially for her. That’s a bit going over that little invisible edge, isn’t it?
It seems the singer recently took a fourteen-meter car trip from her London hotel to a shop across the road. For this she took two chauffeured cars containing her whole staff. Apparently Beyonce didn’t want to walk all the way to the shop in her high heels. A source said the following about the event: “Beyonce has always been down to earth but her antics were astonishing. It looked like they were preparing for a long journey, but it was over as soon as it began. It would have been much quicker to have strolled across the road.” Unbelievable… forget about Mariah Carey, it seems Beyonce is getting the prize for diva of the year this time. Still, I have a question: what did she do in the shop, have her staff carry her on a platform?
Beyonce At The 2009 Oscars
Beyonce arrived wearing this stunning gorgeous strapless black gown with metallic embellishments to the 2009 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night (February 22).
Beyonce joined host Hugh Jackman, Mamma Mia! stars Amanda Seyfreid and Dominic Cooper, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, on stage for a special musical performance.
There seems to be quite a bit of chatter as to whether Beyonce was lipsynching during her musical number with Hugh Jackman or was she singing to a track? Some others suggest she used auto-tune, or that she may have relied a wee bit too much on her background singers.
Shame as I found it quite entertaining.
Yesterday, Beyoncé wowed her audience with her energetic performance at the Bermuda Music Festival in Hamilton, Bermuda. Today she was snapped by the paparazzi relaxing on the beach. Her body is still bootylicious for her baby Jay Z.
Beyoncé also recently revealed that she’s more than 70 songs for hew next album, which is set for release on November 18. Not sure how many of them will make the cut, we’ll have to wait and see.

For the September issue of Vibe magazine, interviewer Elliot Wilson asked 15 questions of Jay-Z. Towards the end of the interview and after hearing Jay-Z refer to Beyoncé as a “friend” the last question was:
“You said your ‘friend,’ but this is your wife. Are you still not willing to confirm?”
“That’s ridiculous for me to confirm,” replies Jay-Z. “I don’t have … I’m gonna say, I think that was a ridiculous question. I just think it’s really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself.”
He did share his reason for trying to guard his privacy and why there has been no public confirmation of their union. He said:
“You have to, or you’ll go insane in this type of business. You have to have something that’s sacred to you and the people around you.
“I shared so much of my life, my childhood, and my family, the death of my nephew with the world. I should have something to hold on to. You need something for your sanity … to say, Okay, I could chill out, and this is it.
He did admit to being in an exclusive relationship saying it’s :
“part of maturing, right? You have the right people around you, and if that person around you is your friend, then you just wanna carry it like that. You get to a point when you could let people into your circle, and that’s it.”
Beyonce and Jay Z apparently got hitched on friday. It is really about time those two have been together forever. I bet B was feeling left out since everyone in Hollywood is getting pregnant and she isn’t getting any younger. How long until Beyonce gets knocked up? I say 3 months..
Here is the latest ad print from House of Dereon. It doesn’t even look like Beyonce, and why in heaven’s name is she wearing a tiara? She’s supposed to be advertising the clothing line, not look as if she is a contenstant for a beauty pagent.
Jay-Z has come out of retirement again to drop an album called “American Gangsta”. Seriously what is up with guys going into ‘retirement’ and then coming back not even a year later!
Anyway, apparently one of the new songs include the lyrics “Beyonce the Fiance”. They have been together for quite a long time, and it would be nice if they finally got hitched. Beyonce is getting older and she probably wants to have a kid soon, because that is what all the Hollywood girls are doing now a days!
Solange Knowles, is currently working on a new album of her own and claims she doesn’t want to be as famous as her big sister Beyonce because she wouldn’t be able to go to the mall anymore. Hmm. I think she realizes there is only room for one diva in the family!
She recently said “I am no longer married … but I think it’s very important not to dish details … we were basically high school sweethearts.”
So, she married Daniel Smith, in Feburary 2004. They had their son Daniel Julez the following October, and she is now divorced already? The girl got pregnant at 17. She is 21 years old now! What the hell was she thinking, I guess her parents were too focused on Beyonce to give her proper guidance. Such a shame..
Beyonce had to cancel a November 1 concert in Kuala Lumpur after Muslim groups protested and the promoter — Pineapple Concerts — failed to secure a license.
Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage rules state that female performers are not allowed to show any skin from the tops of their chests to their knees. Rumours are that she failed to comply with their dress code so the promoter did not apply for the license.
Scandalous if true, she is famous for being a diva, but… something tells me she isn’t that full of herself that she’d be disrespectful and uncooperative to the Muslim culture.
