The 6-year-old son of Backstreet Boys’ singer Brian Littrell has been receiving treatment in hospital for an undisclosed illness, according to his Web site.

Says the BSB member:

For those of you who do not know or have not heard, Baylee Litrell has been in the hospital for the past few days. He will be starting a treatment this afternoon and the Littrell family asks that all Backstreet Boys fans please remember him in prayer during this trying time. Every little prayer helps and every single prayer counts! Brian and Leighanne would also like to wish you all Happy Holidays and thank for your thoughts and prayers….

Pete Wentz talked to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning and explained why he and Ashley named their baby boy Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

He said:

“I feel weird—people have all these ideas of what it means now. I think it’s kind of cool to leave the narrative the way it is. People are stoked or pissed or whatever…I don’t think anybody knows the real story of why or how. We came up with the idea Bronx, we’d been throwing it back and forth a while ago. The Jungle Book is something me and Ashlee bonded over. It’s really cool.”

He feels weird? What is that child going to feel like when he gets teased and you know he will. Kids are cruel!

I feel sorry for him because of his atrocious grammar:

At least they didn’t name the child ‘Baloo!’

Victoria Beckham was snapped by photographers at LAX on her way to catch a flight to London on Sunday. For being a 34 year old mum of 3, she looks great! What I did notice about her after watching her show is that she also seems to be a genuinely good person. No news reports of her ever doing any excessive drinking, drugs/rehab, going commando or showing her private bits. She doesn’t sleep around with different men. She has been married for over 10 years and seems to take her marriage vows seriously as she and her hubby are still together despite the bad press with regards to him cheating on her awhile back.

She recently told the U.K. edition of Glamour: “I’m not pregnant, and I’m not trying to get pregnant at the moment I’m so lucky to have the boys (Brooklyn, 9; Romeo, 6; and Cruz, 3) and they’re such great kids. Nice, free spirits and incredibly polite, which I think is very important.”

She went on to say:

“It takes a lot of energy, and the thought of having another baby now would be a little bit much. Maybe in a year or two but right now, I’m having amazing career opportunities and I want to enjoy the boys.”

The life of a pop star mom : a busy week in New York, the week before she was shooting a new video (wearing that black wig) put her mansion up for sale, no doubt did some house hunting for a new mansion, getting ready to do promo for her new album to drop.

She’s a mother of two, employs an entourage, loves to shop, and has bills to pay. The look on her face on some of the recent photos I have seen of her reflect an exhausted and still troubled woman.

What about all the parents that manage to raise kids without nannies, psychiatrists, attorneys, conservators or entourages! Props to them, how do they do it?

Pete Wentz revealed in an interview he did with Playboy magazine that he and Ashlee are fairly certain they are having a baby boy (not twins as has been the rumour) this fall:

“We know with 90 percent accuracy that it’s a boy and our due date is around Thanksgiving. We don’t have any names yet. My friend Andrew said, ‘Your kid has to have a name that would fit either a rock star or a senator.’”

He also told of his struggle with depression:

“As a kid I always went to therapists; the first time was when my parents were separated on my sixth birthday, then on and off since then. I was diagnosed with ADD.”

Pete also discussed his overdose with his anxiety medication back in February 2005:

“It had more to do with being depressed. I wasn’t thinking of killing myself. I’ve never really called it a suicide attempt. I just wanted my head to be completely turned off. I took a handful of Ativan.”

Pete even talked about his famous sister-in-law, Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend, professional football player Tony Romo:

“I like Tony a lot. He’s a rad dude, and we’re both into Guns n’ Roses. Magazines always like to use pictures of us together: ‘Tony wears Nikes, but Pete’s checking out Balenciaga bags.”

He seems to be very happy, in love, and eagerly waiting the arrival of their new baby. Hopefully the stress of becoming a new father won’t be too much for him and their new marriage. I always wonder why newlyweds get pregnant so soon. Marriage is such a big step why not take some time to really get to know each other and see what it’s like living together before adding a new baby? Oh well… guess they’ll be finding out soon enough… hopefully they are both banking up on their sleep before the baby arrives!

Gwen Stefani and baby son Zuma have checked out of L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and are now safely tucked away at home with sibling Kingston and daddy Gav.

“Everyone is just so very happy,” Rossdale’s father Douglas told Usmagazine.com last Friday morning. “It’s fantastic news, and I’m just so happy.”

He said he “can’t wait” to meet the little guy.

“I’m always proud of Gavin and my grandchildren,” he added.

Here are the Beckhams  at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday. David has an England match on Wednesday so perhaps that is where they are headed. Such a stylish family! Love her outfit, especially her handbag and shades. Father and son’s matching buzz cuts are soooo cute!

It’s also rumoured that David will make an appearance in China to participate in the closing ceremonies representing London along with Leona Lewis. London is to be the next city to host the Summer Olympics in 2012.

“David is going to be in the surprise finale. They always have a segment to do the handover, to showcase the next city to host the Olympics,” he adds he was very involved in the London bid to get it, and as a Londoner he is incredibly proud that the Olympics will be in London. The closing ceremony is slated for Sunday, August 24th at Beijing’s National Stadium.

Clay Aiken is the proud daddy of a baby son born today at 8:08 a.m in his home state of North Carolina. The baby’s mama is his good friend Jaymes Foster, a music producer and sister of David Foster. Their baby was conceived via in-vitro fertilization and they plan on raising the child together.

He writes on his blog:

“HE’S HERE! “My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)

“Parker was born at a hospital in North Carolina just this morning at 8:08 AM. Wow… 8:08 … 08/08/08.”

Victoria Beckham supposedly wants to have another baby, but her doctors have advised her that she cannot have another C-section (it would be her 4th) or she will cause damage to her body.

The Herald Sun reports:

The former Spice Girl - who has three sons, 9-year-old Brooklyn, 5-year-old Romeo, and 3-year-old Cruz with husband David Beckham - is determined to have a little girl, but has been told she could damage her body if she has a fourth caesarean. “She wanted to try for a baby after the Spice Girls finished touring,” a source said. “But she’s put her plans on hold while she sees what can be done to help her. She knows she is putting her health at risk if she dismisses the advice of her doctors and has another C-section.” Doctors are concerned the 34-year-old could need an emergency hysterectomy if the op goes wrong.”

I remember reading that she had to have an emergency C-section with her first son, and it is dangerous to deliver vaginally after having one C-section … and that’s if you had one, if you had 3 previous c-sections, I think it would be out of the question!

Los Angeles Superior Court spokesperson, Alan Parachini gave this statement on the court proceedings Tuesday:

There was a change in visitation status that was ordered by Commissioner Gordon this morning. I’m not at liberty to answer any questions about the nature of that change.

Britney, Kevin, and her father (and co-conservator) Jamie Spears attended the hearing.

The details of her visitation will not be released however it is being reported by TMZ that she wanted overnight visits with her sons.

She and Kevin are scheduled to be back in court July 15th. Laura Wasser is again representing Britney in the custody case. She had dropped her as a client during her crazy antics phase because she continually ignored her legal advice.
