Actress Jodie Foster has said Mel Gibson is ‘one of the most loved people in the business’. The pair are starring together in new film The Beaver and she admitted that working with Mel was ‘amazing’. Gibson’s ex recently dropped a domestic violence claim against him, which was related to their custody battle. Speaking to ET, she said: “I think it’s no secret that he’s really one of the most loved people in the business, professionally.” She added: “He has seen the film, he loves the movie. He’s doing well, you know, he’s at an interesting moment in his life and he’s really being as supportive as he can and, you know, clapping from the sidelines.”
Kendra Wilkinson has revealed that she and her husband, Hank Baskett, are trying for a second baby. The couple welcomed Hank Baskett IV in December 2009, and the former Playboy pin-up said the time has come to add another child to their family. She told E! News, “We’re practicing for number two. Why not? Just one more would be great. And I wouldn’t mind having number two soon. “We have so much love to give – we’re just loving baby Hank so much. We’re raising him well, teaching him everything he needs to be taught. “But yeah, I really feel like it’s naturally time for another one soon. I really do.” Kendra, who once dated Hugh Hefner, was voted off Dancing With The Stars earlier this week and said that she is looking forward to tucking into some nice food. She added, “I’m done with Dancing With the Stars so it’s time to eat. It’s time to barbeque. You know, have some fun and relax a little bit. It’s time to enjoy the outdoors.”
January Jones will be a “great mother”, her Mad Men co-star Aaron Staton has revealed. The 33-year-old actress, who recently announced that she is pregnant with her first child, has reportedly spoken about wanting to become a mum for some time. Speaking about his co-star’s pregnancy to People Magazine at the Creative Coalition’s Be A Star launch, in Washington, Staton said: “It’s something that she’s wanted to do and that she’s excited to do. January is such a sweet person. I think she’s an honest person. I think she’s really going to be a great mother.” Staton, who has a 10-month-old son, added that he doesn’t think Jones — who is due to give birth in the autumn — will need much advice about motherhood. He said: “So much of it is natural. It’s sort of intimidating, but so much of it comes naturally when you meet the kid.”
Eva Mendes has made a bizarre bid to get on Dancing With The Stars. The actress told Jimmy Fallon that she was a huge fan of of the show – leading to a comedy skit where they pretended to audition together. Starting with a video – supposedly their audition tape – the pair were seen in hilarious Fame-style bright-coloured dance clothing. They then “performed” live in the studio – coming out of a clock in European clothing and doing a high-energy but low-skilled routine. But the pair were rejected for being too good
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is reportedly throwing her pal Victoria Beckham a ‘princess-pink’ themed baby shower. Eva, 36, is so excited by the arrival of the 37-year-old’s first daughter that she and friend and celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves are going all out. They are hosting a special private party on May 6 at LA’s Beverly Wilshire hotel, with an impressive guestlist lined up – including model Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Heidi Klum, Katie Holmes, Rachel Zoe, January Jones and Kate Beckinsale. A source told British newspaper the Daily Mirror: “The baby shower was all Eva’s idea, she sort of rail-roaded Victoria into it. “Eva and Ken are going totally over the top and camping it up. “As well as having baby-pink cupcakes and marshmallow towers, pink bubbly will be stored in a huge, ice-filled pram. “The plan is for a mini-tea party during which everyone will hand over their gifts. You can expect a lot of Tiffany merchandise and designer babygros. “Afterwards, a few select friends will go to Eva’s Hollywood restaurant, Beso, for dinner -Victoria’s a bit gutted because she will not be able to drink.”
Comedienne Tina Fey has revealed that she pumped breast milk while watching TV show Entourage. The 30 Rock star told GQ magazine that following the birth of her daughter Alice in 2005, she was unable to produce enough milk naturally and had to resort to using a breast pump, which she found “upsetting”. Consequently, the 40-year-old star, who is currently pregnant with her second child, attempted to make using the pump more enjoyable. She said: “I would try to pump milk while watching Entourage on demand. And that was the worst possible way to do it. “Like, I had the pump on, and I’d hear Turtle on TV, ‘Yo, E, you ever f*** a girl when she has her period?’ I just sat there thinking, ‘Oooh, this is not how this is meant to be.’” But jokes aside, Fey says her hubby, Jeff Richmond, was “really good about helping out” — most of the time. She said: “The problem was [nappies]. He never got past the poop. He would do these [makes gagging noises], ‘Oh God, I’m gonna vomit’. Never got over it.”
Cat Deeley yesterday (Wednesday) revealed how she almost agreed to pose for Playboy magazine — because she thought she could ‘work’ a set of bunny ears. The British TV star toyed with the idea of gracing the cover of the adult mag after receiving an offer from publisher Hugh Hefner. But she eventually turned down the X-rated shoot, because she feared her father might not recover from the shock. “I did not say yes because my father is still alive and I would like him to remain that way for the foreseeable future. My dad couldn’t handle it,” she said. Deeley, 37, spoke candidly about her potential Playboy career during an appearance on George Lopez’s US chat show. The Birmingham-born presenter, who hosts American TV show So You Think You Can Dance, revealed how she received the offer after attending a party at the world famous Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. “We went and he [Hugh Hefner] was just as you’d expect him to be,” she said. “He had his white satin pyjamas on and couldn’t understand a word I was saying. “It started at 5.30pm. It was like an early movie night. Everybody was tucked up with their little blankets. “But there is life in the old dog yet. After I’d been there, a week later my manager got a phone call saying would I be interested in doing the cover and an inside story.” She added: “There was part of me that was kind of like ‘Ooh I could work a set of ears. I could make that happen for me.’ But everybody sensible in my life said absolutely not.”
US funnywoman Tina Fey thought she was an ‘incredible beauty’ when she was young until she realised strangers were only fussing over her because of the scar on her face. The 30 Rock star has a blemish on her left cheek as a result of a knife attack when she was just five-years-old. Fey thinks she will be ‘glorifying’ the incident if she talks about it, but she has now opened up about the effect it had on her when she was growing up. The 40-year-old told the The Sunday Times Magazine: “It wasn’t until years later I realised people weren’t making a fuss over me because I was some incredible beauty or genius; they were making a fuss over me to compensate for my being slashed. “I accepted all the attention at face value and proceeded through life as if I really were extraordinary.”
Zsa Zsa Gabor and her husband are reportedly considering having a child by a surrogate mother. Prince Frederic von Anhalt told CNN that he wants to have a child with his 94-year-old ailing wife so that he has someone to care for after she’s gone. And he revealed the shocking news after visiting a fertility clinic in Los Angeles. He said the couple plan to add to their family via an egg donor, artificial insemination and a surrogate mother. Anhalt said: “I’ve gone through the initial steps of donor matching and blood work and next week the donation process will begin. “In life you need something to live for. If my wife passes away before me, I have nothing to live for. “I’m a retired guy. I can take care of a child.” But Gabor’s only child, daughter Francesca Hilton, hit back at the plans, stating: “That’s just weird.”
Supermodel Heidi Klum insists she is not perfect as a wife for hubby Seal – because she can’t make him a proper cup of tea. Despite their amazing six-year marriage, the model and reality TV star insists: “I’m not white-picket-fence perfect.” And she admits that her British husband’s biggest complaint is when she tries to make him a cuppa. “The water can never be hot enough for him, and only when the tea is just the right colour can you add the milk,” she says, laughing. “Maybe when I’m 80, I’ll be allowed to make it.” But Heidi admits that her husband – and their four kids – are her biggest priority, even when her career is so hectic. “Family comes first,” she told Good Housekeeping magazine. “You’re the only thing they have.” Asked how her marriage to singer Seal has been so happy, she says: “We love each other. We love our kids. We have fun with each other and in all the stages in our lives we go through together. There are many days where I don’t want to put on makeup. I want to be loved just as me.” She added of her husband: “He’s the most charming, loving, fun, gentlemanly, inspirational man I could have wished for. He always makes me feel I’m the only woman in the world. “We may be parents, but we can still make time to be a couple. We like to have fun with each other – we do have four kids.” But she insists love has not always been so easy. “I’ve been married before. I’ve had boyfriends. I’ve been cheated on. I’ve been heartbroken. That’s part of life, and it’s part of figuring out who you are so you can find the right partner.”
