The Jonas Brothers will soon know the meaning of the phrase ‘the sweet smell of success’ as they are going to be doing a movie about a farting dog.
The movie is based on the best-selling books about a dog who has a farting problem. The Jonas Brothers will be playing the roles of musicians and brothers (imagine that!) who have to take care of the hound with the tooting problem after their aunt dies. I know this sounds wrong on so many levels doesn’t it? Like seriously… they are going to take second billing to a dog that farts?!!
Peter Farrelly of The Farrelly Brothers will direct. The farting (filming) begins next spring.
I think I remember reading the book. Walter the dog was rescued from the pound and the kids were trying to keep him from going back. One night the family home was broken into and Walter’s farts saved the day!
Well look at this. Here is Michael Jackson taking his unmasked kids to the comic book store. He fiercely guarded their faces before and would never let them be photographed. Wonder why they are now being shown? Is it them not wanting to wear the masks, or is he relenting on keeping them covered up?
He’s in his trademark gear as usual, surgical mask, pajama pants, a pair of over-sized sunglasses and a surgical bonnet covering his hair underneath that hooded sweatshirt. He looks like a comic book character himself.
I remember Martin Bashir the author who spent quite an extended period of time with Michael and his kids saying that the children were well-educated and well-mannered.
That may be so, but these kids do not live a normal life. No school. No mother. Few friends and their father walking about in public in pajamas and a mask while shopping at stores closed just for them.
Their version of the outside world must be so distorted. So sad really.
The life of a pop star mom : a busy week in New York, the week before she was shooting a new video (wearing that black wig) put her mansion up for sale, no doubt did some house hunting for a new mansion, getting ready to do promo for her new album to drop.
She’s a mother of two, employs an entourage, loves to shop, and has bills to pay. The look on her face on some of the recent photos I have seen of her reflect an exhausted and still troubled woman.
What about all the parents that manage to raise kids without nannies, psychiatrists, attorneys, conservators or entourages! Props to them, how do they do it?

I checked out her blog yesterday morning and she had this to say about her experience shooting the TV show:
“2 days left of my shoot on Ugly Betty-I am quite sad to have to leave the wonderful cast and crew behind. It’s always sad to leave people that you get close to… It’s been such a delight to be a part of this show!!-My sister, Aliana, is visiting me on set today and I loooove having her around… she makes me smile, just like another certain someone love you baby xoxo”.
Was that a sly lil reference to SaMan?
She also ranted at vice-presidential hopeful Sarah Palin on her blog, calling her a “narrow-minded, media-obsessed homophobe.”
I had a chuckle when she called Palin media-obsessed, she’s a famewh**e herself!
Gwen Stefani and baby son Zuma have checked out of L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and are now safely tucked away at home with sibling Kingston and daddy Gav.
“Everyone is just so very happy,” Rossdale’s father Douglas told Usmagazine.com last Friday morning. “It’s fantastic news, and I’m just so happy.”
He said he “can’t wait” to meet the little guy.
“I’m always proud of Gavin and my grandchildren,” he added.

They are no doubt stoked for getting a VMA nomination for Video of the Year but when asked who should win for Video of the Year (other than themselves), Kevin said:
“Chris Brown’s ‘Forever’ …or Britney’s ‘Piece of Me’. She seems to be having a really great comeback and that’s awesome!”
Apparently there is another Jonas brother. His name is Frankie, he is 7 years old, and he is known as the Bonus Jonas. He’s adorable. Watch when he makes his MTV debut on “TRL” this week.
When asked how he got his nickname of Bonus Jonas Frankie says:
“Actually, I don’t really know [how I got the nickname], it just came up, and people started talking to me and going, ‘Hey, Bonus Jonas,’ and I was like, ‘Hey, whatever.’ ”
He’s a natural in front of the camera, and plans on starting up his own band someday and having his older brothers open up for him! How cute is that?
Here is Britney’s mom Lynne Spears’s new book cover shown today, but the book itself is due out Sept. 16th. It was originally supposed to be publicized earlier but was put on hold after Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn got pregnant. Originally the gossip was that it was going to be a parenting book, but apparently that was not the case.
Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World is a memoir, describing Spears’s “story of what it was like being a mom and raising two very famous people,” a spokesman for publisher Thomas Nelson said in a statement to PEOPLE a couple of months ago.
Said the publisher at the time: “Lynne never stopped working on it because she wants to express her love for her children and tell their stories through a mother’s eyes.”
It should be an interesting read. I’m not surprised she didn’t shelve the project once it became public knowledge that her teenage daughter was pregnant and Britney was hospitalized since she no doubt spent the advance she received. Some things are just better left unsaid, so hopefully she tries to keep some of the private family matters private.
I’m looking at this picture of her and reminding myself that she is only 14 years old. The push-up bra, french manicure, full face makeup, high heels… girl is trying too hard to look all grown up. I don’t have to imagine what she’ll look like when she’s 30 since she looks soooooooo much older than she really is.
Anyhoo, apparently The Lohans were kicked out from the New York City premiere of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Celebrity snitches told gossip columnist Marc Malkin that Dina and Ali Lohan, were ejected from the red carpet movie afterparty when mama Lohan did the freak on a event staffer who “politely” asked them to change tables.
“Dina “went apeshit…It so wasn’t cool.” So not cool that “Dina was quietly removed” from the rooftop soiree… Dina was so awful.”
Mama Lohan sent an email explaining to Marc that she decided to take Ali and friend home early after a studio staffer began raising his voice.
“He made the girls uncomfortable,” Dina says. “At that point, the girls wanted to leave.”

No doubt he was referring to the gossip that he’s dating country-music singer Taylor Swift, who was seen in the crowd at a Dallas concert and who will appear in the their band’s upcoming 3-D movie!
Nick said: “The Kim Kardashian rumor [about me] was hilarious, “I was honored, but I was like, ‘Reggie Bush would kill me!’” He went on to talk about his relationship with Miley Cyrus, who helped launch their career when she had them guest star on her show as well as had them open for her on her Best Of Both Worlds Tour:
“There was a point in our lives when we were very close,” Nick says softly of the Miley rumors. “We were neighbors when we were on tour together. It was good. Just really close. But it would crack me up — I would read these stories online, people saying things that were completely untrue.”
Hmm, those sexy pictures that she took of herself posing and pouting that just surfaced on the net thanks to a hacker that hacked her cell phone were supposedly sent by her to him, makes me wonder what sort of closeness she thought they had going on!
