While fighting malaria, Cheryl Cole missed the deadline to file divorce papers and now, the Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge is desperate to get a quickie divorce so that she can finally show the world how much she loves Derek Hough. According to insiders, Cheryl doesn’t want to be disrespectful to her ex Ashley Cole by being openly affectionate with the Dancing with the Stars competitor. Why think about that when Ashley has been spotted with several other women? Sources say that Cheryl is fighting for a quick divorce and “is remaining upbeat and hopeful they can get a result for her soon. She’s still hopeful it can be resolved quickly.”
Cheryl Cole can’t wait to go back to work and be a jury member once again for “The X Factor” in Great Britain. The singer who had to take a break and cancel all her shows when she contacted malaria, sent many messages to Simon Cowell saying that she’s bored and wants to be a X Factor juror again. In an interview for GMTV, Simon said that the worst is over, and that Cheryl is bored and wants to go back to work. Simon first wants to be sure that Cheryl is fully recovered.
I finally have some good news to share about Cheryl Cole. The Girls Aloud singer’s publicist has announced that Cheryl has been released from the intensive care that she was placed in to treat her malaria. The statement came via Twitter over the weekend, saying “Cheryl Cole today came out of intensive care and has left UCLH. She has now been transferred to a private clinic where she will remain for her recovery.” That’s definitely great to hear. I hope Cheryl has a speedy recovery and doesn’t go through any other complications. Hang in there and get healthy. There’s no rush.
Yet another gala of awards and Cheryl Cole has taken the “woman of the year” prize once more. This time it was the Glamour Awards where the Girls Aloud conquered the title. This is what Cheryl Cole had to say upon receiving the prize: “Four or five years ago I’d never dreamed I’d be here amongst so many women. One person I definitely have to thank is my dentist. So thank you very much.” You have to admire Cheryl Cole… most people would go on and on about how they’re grateful to their families or to Jesus for their success, but not her. No, she chooses to thank one of the main men behind the whole deal: the dentist.
Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole says she has toughened up for her role as judge in the new series of the X Factor.
This year will be the 26-year-old’s second series as a judge on the hit show, and Cheryl admitted she has found the change in format with a live audience at auditions difficult.
She said: “I’d just found my feet, and then they change the format. But i’ve really enjoyed the new process and I’m more experienced as a judge – and in saying no.
“I struggled last year in saying no to people. This year, I’m more able to say no to people that don’t have what we’re looking for.”
Last year, Cheryl won the contest with Alexandra Burke, and she is confident she can win again.
It is thought she has been given the male 16-24 category.
