While her performance at this past weekend’s X Factor finale was awesome, Christina Aguilera reportedly acted like a huge diva on the set of the reality TV talent show when she refused to speak to contestant Rebecca Ferguson, who was her duet partner. An eyewitness who saw the 29-year old pop singer’s behavior said “Christina was being a diva. She folded her arms on stage, didn’t talk to Rebecca and then walked straight off afterwards.” The source said that she didn’t even acknowledge Rebecca and stomped off to her dressing room after rehearsal. With less than stellar album and movie ticket sales, I really don’t think she should be acting like she rules the world.

Christina Aguilera will reportedly be getting a huge honor this coming Monday as the 29-year old pop singer is going to be the recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. According to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce “One of the most accomplished performers of the last decade, she has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, achieved four #1 singles on the Billboard hot 100 chart, and has won five Grammy Awards, and achieved three Top-Five albums in the United States. She has collaborated with other legendary artists including Herbie Hancock,Andrea Bocelli, Tony Bennett, Elton John and The Rolling Stones. Aguilera was also the only artist under 30 to make Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of 100 greatest singers of all time.” Congratulations!
Sources have confirmed that Katy Perry, Rihanna and Christina Aguilera will soon be taking to the X Factor stage to perform during the upcoming live shows. Katy will be performing her new single ‘Firework’ this weekend, alongside Diana Vickers who will perform ‘My Wicked Heart’. The following week, Rihanna is expected to perform ‘Only Girl (In the World), alongside Cheryl Cole with ‘Promise This’. Christina doesn’t have a performance date set yet but I think it will likely end up some time around the premiere of her movie ‘Burlesque’. I hope she sings something off the soundtrack because anything from ‘Bionic’ will just be disappointing.

Diddy and Ciroc premium vodka have teamed up with City Taxi & Limousine Commission and E! Entertainment to distribute thousands of debit cards, valued up to $15.
Diddy had this to say:
“New York is the world’s most iconic New Year’s Eve City, so let’s lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.”
Teams will distribute the debit cards on the streets, in the Times Square and Chelsea’s nightclub areas between 11PM on New Year’s Eve and 3AM on New Year’s Day.

She “Keeps Getting Better” with this polished look accessorizing with Louboutin pumps and Webster jewels. She performed alongside Celine Dion and Mariah Carey at the star-studded gala.
A few nominations have already been announced for the 51st Grammy Awards set to take place February 2009 including The Jonas Brothers and Duffy for Best New Artist. Radiohead, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, Sullivan, and John Mayer all got five Grammy nominations each.
Take a listen to Christina’s rendition of Beautiful at CNN Heroes. What an absolutely flawless performance. She has amazing range. I don’t know why people compare and categorize her with Britney or Lady Gaga.
Some people have negatively commented about the runs and embellishments she does in this rendition, but in my opinion, they are completely appropriate for the type of performance she was giving. Runs and embellishments are what truly *showcase* her amazing vocal talent and range, and by doing them she emphasizes that she is not lip-synching.
She received a standing ovation at the end.
The Mirror posted a couple of pictures of Prince William hanging out with “two showgirls.” They call Xtina and Paris Hilton “showgirls.” I just love that term for them!
Princes William and Harry were at London’s Whisky Mint with some friends the other night when Prince William excused himself and went up to Xtina who was sitting with her husband nearby. A witness told the paper that the “two sat very close, swapping numbers and flirting outrageously.”
A little while later, Paris came up to Xtina’s table.
The witness said after a few minutes she and Prince William were exchanging numbers.
Well now… let’s think about this. The British royalty chatting up with American royalty! They were probably talking about politics!
Christina Aguilera had a family dinner night out with her baby son Max who is now 7 months old and husbby Jordan Bratman. She was sweet enough to take some time out to stop and sign a few autographs for some of her fans in Manhattan, New York City on Monday.
Max is so adorable and I did notice that he is not covered in red lipstick kisses so the lip gloss she is wearing must be the reason why! There is no way she wouldn’t be giving him sweet lil kisses so the sensible gloss is the perfect solution… saves her having to wipe the lipstick smudges off.
She was wearing a strapless graphic print max dress as she kept a tight grip on her bundle of love Max, who has helped mom and dad add $1.5 million to the family fortune that People magazine paid for the first photos.
Baby Max’s name means “Our Greatest Song” in Hebrew. I love that, so much.
Christina has been working on her newest album and is scheduled to perform at the Conde Nast Media Group’s 2008 Fashion Rocks benefit on Sept. 5th.

Christina Aguilera has spent the last year redoing the Beverly Hills mansion she purchased from the Osbournes. She paid 11.5 million, not sure what the renovations cost but I totally get why she’d want to remove all gothic traces, especially the gargoyles that were prominently displayed throughout! I watched the Osbourne tv show and their dogs were NOT house broken so it doesn’t surprise me that the flooring would need to be replaced!
