This friendly twittering went down today between John Mayer and Demi Lovato:
John tweeted, “I have ‘La La Land’ by @ddlovato stuck in my head. Actually, it’s not stuck. I’m choosing to sing it. B section is sophisticated. You’re going to make lots of records, I can tell.”
Demi excitedly responded: “Holy crap. THANK YOU. You’re so awesome. That is quite possibly the best compliment I’ve received in this business. Thank you so, so much….. !!!!!!”
John gave her some friendly advice: “Write one song at a time, never apologize for any of them, ever. From Wonderland to Trio stuff, they’re all my kids.”
She enthusiastically replied: “See, That’s exactly what I needed to hear today. Wow. If that’s not inspiration, then I don’t know what is! You’re incredible.”
Selena posted this:
“JOHN MAYER JUST TWITTERED ABOUT DEMI! SHES IS FREAKING OUT!!!!!!
Nick, Kevin and Joe posed for photographers at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards, held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Saturday night (March 28) in Westwood, Calif.
The brothers took over Radio Disney on Friday afternoon when they put on an acoustic performance.
They had this to say about their upcoming tour:
“We’ve got new songs, new production elements and new instruments as well. In this new record, we tried to add some different sounds. We’ve been working a lot with horns. After we did the Grammy performance with Stevie Wonder, we had the five horn players behind us. We were like, ‘We should do this to our music and add this different sound to it.’ We incorporated it in our record and we’ll be playing with them this summer!”
Apparently there is a bit of hissing going on by parents about the Pussycat Dolls and whether they should have even been on the KCAs at all. Many felt that they’re not kid appropriate. I’ve read several blogs and am stunned at how many have been complainting about how provocatively they were dressed.
The actor has recently admitted that he had and still has a very soft spot for the Disney character. Kiefer Sutherland related how he first got acquainted with Bambi: “I remember seeing ‘Bambi’ as a kid, and I just felt really strongly about that deer. It moved me so much. When the mother got killed and all that. Bambi really had the struggle of growing up. I guess I saw that movie at seven or eight. ‘Cinderella’ was more designed for my sister to enjoy. But as a guy, I felt OK about really feeling for that little animal.” I’m sure that this meaningful experience has left its mark ok Kiefer Sutherland and he does not hunt deer or other animals for sport, but when he eats stake… doesn’t he think that could be some poor calf’s mother he’s devouring?
Zac Efron will make an appearance with comedian Russell Brand on Rove this Sunday, March 15. He’ll be premiering ‘17 Again’ in Melbourne on Monday evening (March 16).
Zac Efron was seen Friday night (March 13) at the Grand Finals of the National Basketball League at the Hisense Arena in Melbourne, Australia.
A fan who was there told celebrity blogger Just Jared:
“He was hooded and trying to keep a low profile until they showed him on the big screen. At half time, fans swarmed on his box but security was evident. He talked to a few young fans and left before full time where the South Dragons defeated the Melbourne Tigers.”
Miley’s first half-a**ed initial apology didn’t cut it so she posted a second one on her fan club website trying to sound more sincere. If at first you don’t succeed…. She wrote:
“I want to thank all of my fans for their support not only this week, but always! I really wanted to stress how sorry I am if the photo of me with my friends offended anyone. I have learned a valuable lesson from this and know that sometimes my actions can be unintentionally hurtful. I know everything is a part of GOD’s ultimate plan, and mistakes happen so that eventually I will become the woman he aspires me to be. Peace and love, Miles”
She not only offended Asians. I’ve been reading around various sites and it seems that many others find it offensive that she, a 16 year old girl is sitting on the lap of a 20 something guy surrounded by other non-teens at a party where there seems to be alcohol all the while claiming she’s a God fearing role model for little kids.
Check out the person on the right with a full glass of what appears to be wine?
I’m wondering what her parents really think of their daughter misbehaving this way?
Here is a preview of Demi Lovato’s new series, Sonny With A Chance. She stars as the main character and the show makes its debut on Sunday , February 8th @ 8PM ET/PT on the Disney Channel.
She introduces the new characters on the series. Check out Tawni (Tiffany Thornton), Nico (Brandon Smith), Grady (Doug Brochu), Zora (Allisyn Arm), and Chad Dylan Cooper (Sterling Knight) before they even premiere the first episode.
I find the laugh track a wee bit annoying as there is laughter after almost every line. It’s a comedy show about a comedy show. It’ll be on during the Grammys Sunday, so I’ll be sure to record it so I can check it out.
Joe and his older brother Kevin Jonas check in at security at LAX airport in Los Angeles this morning.
The brothers, including Nick will be performing along with Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus at the Kids’ Inaugural: We Are The Future celebration, hosted by new First Lady Michelle Obama.
Nick talked to People about what songs he thinks they would be performing. He shared:
“We know Sasha and Malia [Obama] are fans of ‘Burning Up,’ so we’ll be playing that.”
Make sure to check out the concert, which will air Monday, January 19th @ 8PM ET/PT on the Disney Channel.
This little picture of Miley doing at first glance what looks like digging for gold was snapped by a paparazzi during a rehearsal for a Christmas special at Disney World. Miley was doing the sound and mic check yet once again, here is a picture that she will no doubt be upset about.
After a closer look, all she is doing is rubbing her nose with her knuckle!
One thing about Miley, unlike Britney, Lindsay, Ashlee or Hilary, she really does sing live. From everything I have read about her, she doesn’t do lip-synching or electronic manipulation (“sweetening”) of her voice in concert. The background vocals may be recorded, but she sings live.
People may negatively comment about her looks and conduct, but the girl has talent, and she shows it during her live performances!
Pete Wentz talked to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning and explained why he and Ashley named their baby boy Bronx Mowgli Wentz.
He said:
“I feel weird—people have all these ideas of what it means now. I think it’s kind of cool to leave the narrative the way it is. People are stoked or pissed or whatever…I don’t think anybody knows the real story of why or how. We came up with the idea Bronx, we’d been throwing it back and forth a while ago. The Jungle Book is something me and Ashlee bonded over. It’s really cool.”
He feels weird? What is that child going to feel like when he gets teased and you know he will. Kids are cruel!
I feel sorry for him because of his atrocious grammar:
