Actress Christina Applegate has admitted she is jealous of Jessica Alba’s post-baby body. The Up All Night star, who is mum to nine-month-old Sadie Grace, has been admiring Alba’s figure after she gave birth to little Haven in August. Christina, 39, wrote on her Twitter page: “Just saw a pic of Jessica alba 3mths after giving birth. Happy 4 her for how amazing she looks but kind wanna kick her.” Hollywood star Jessica, 30, recently revealed she isn’t ‘stressed’ about losing the baby weight.

X Factor Australia judge Mel B has said ‘of course’ she’s a diva. The 36-year-old is currently a judge on the Australian version of the hit talent show but used to be a member of the British girl band The Spice Girls. Speaking to news.com.au, she said: “I’m a hard worker, I really am. (The Spice Girls) didn’t have a day off for three years straight, and I’m talking even Christmas not having a day off. “Of course I’m a bit of a diva. I’ve sold 75 million records. Who wouldn’t be? I’m a girly-girl. I like my lighting. I like my hair and make-up done. “I like to dress up. I’ve flown my team over from LA. I’m very opinionated and I’m very honest but I’m not mean.”

Harry Potter author JK Rowling will be tracing her family history in the new series of Who Do You Think You Are? Rowling’s episode of the hit BBC ancestry series will be showing in August and viewers will get to see her tracing her late mum’s French family history. She starts her search by getting information in Edinburgh before visiting the Savoy Hotel in London and travelling to the streets of Paris. Other stars searching for their family’s history in the new series include the Eastenders actress June Brown, who will be the oldest celeb to take part.

They were last together in the TV classic Dallas 20 years ago, now Larry Hagman, in his trademark 10-gallon cowboy hat, and Linda Gray have been reunited for a new Qantas advert. Under the banner Dallas Returns, the pair were brought back together to promote the Australian airline’s new route from Sydney to Dallas. Hagman, 79, played the scheming J.R. Ewing in every episode of the show, which ran from 1978 to 1991. Linda, 70, played his long-suffering alcoholic wife Sue Ellen. Qantas operates a Boeing 747 on the route four times a week, and the flight time is 15 hours. A Dallas storyline of “Who shot J.R.?” became a worldwide sensation in 1980, keeping viewers on tenterhooks until it was revealed the culprit was Sue Ellen’s sister, Kristin Shepard (Mary Crosby), with whom he had had an affair. The ad will be seen on billboards and in magazines worldwide.

Sarah Ferguson says she felt like she ‘handed over the baton’ when she watched the royal wedding even though she was snubbed from attending. The 51-year-old Duchess of York, who has been ignored by royal circles for years, still felt like she was involved somehow while watching TV coverage of Kate Middleton walk down the aisle with Prince William. But she admits that she feels that the new member of royalty will ‘do it right’ admitting that she made a mess of her life as a royal. “With Catherine going up the aisle, you know what went through my head?” Ms Ferguson asked during an interview with the New York Times. “I feel like I’ve handed over the baton and said, ‘Well done. And you’ll do it right’. “I didn’t do it right.” Fergie admits that not being invited to the wedding really brought home just how much life had changed for her. “I really missed not being at the wedding,” she said, wistfully. “I missed being part of it all.”

There might still be memory of the very long list of potential US X Factor judges that Simon Cowell had drafted… and of the fact that Jessica Simpson too was on that list. Now that she didn’t get to be a part of the show, it looks like the singer has become pretty sad about the whole thing as a source relates: “She was devastated when she didn’t get hired to be a judge on The X Factor. Though she knows she’s lucky her clothing line is so successful, she felt like The X Factor was her last chance in terms of her showbiz career.” Oh well, at least Jessica Simpson will always have the music… but what is that worth if she doesn’t get to flaunt her skills on shows?

The track serves as the lead single off of her first album since 2003, the upcoming “Panic of Girls”. It’s a great song with an incredible hook and a really cool music video. Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall has admitted she finds dating ‘scary’ – and it makes her feel like she is 14 again. Cattrall split from partner Alan Wyse in 2009 and is making the most of her single status. The Meet Monica Velour actress told E! News: “It’s scary but also it’s exciting. “It’s both of those things. It’s a tight rope… It’s feeling like you’re 14 again, which you kind of like when you’re 54.” As for whether there will be a third Sex and the City film, Kim added: “I have no idea. I hear more prequel than sequel.”

Jodie Foster has shown off pictures of a recent “disgusting” eye infection on a late night US talk show. Foster told Tonight Show host Jay Leno she picked up the infection when she worked on a movie set in Paris, France. “The last days of shooting I got some terrible, disgusting, bad, nasty eye thing, it was really horrible,” laughed Foster. “I had some kind of throat infection the week before. I could not unstick my eyes, they would not open, it was gross.” Leno then showed Foster, 48, old footage of her as a three-year-old child star appearing on the Doris Day Show picking her nose.
