Shakira’s new single “Loca” was premiered today, September 1st. This is the English version which features British rapper Dizzee Rascal.

Grown Ups star Salma Hayek has admitted she only just learned how to use a computer.
The 43-year-old actress, who is married to businessman Francois Pinault, said she has never Googled herself to see what others are saying about her but the reason is she has never got round to learning how to use a machine.
She said to Britain’s OK! magazine: “I have a confession to make – I just learned how to use the computer last week. My husband has been begging me to do it because it just makes life easier and I’ve been resistant to it, so he tricked me.
“I love sudoku and he said: ‘Look at this iPod, you can play sudoku on it.’ So I started doing the sudoku and then started learning the other stuff and I’m getting into it now. It’s my favourite thing at the moment.”

Naomi Campbell has reportedly been named as one of 40 “fierce and fabulous” black women who are changing the world – despite recently being accused of allegedly accepting a “blood diamond” from former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor.
And, ironically, the supermodel shares her place on the list with the current leader of Liberia – President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
Both women appear in the 40th anniversary issue of Essence, a US magazine aimed at African-American women.
They appear on a list celebrating 40 “fierce and fabulous” women that includes First Lady Michelle Obama, media mogul Oprah Winfrey, writer-poet Maya Angelou, singer Beyonce and Wimbledon champ Serena Williams.
Essence celebrates Campbell’s achievements on and off the catwalk, saying: “She’s clocked 25 years in fashion, with the meanest catwalk of them all… she has changed what it means to be a supermodel.
“Her foundation, Fashion for Relief, raised $1m for victims of Hurricane Katrina and, earlier this year, brought in more than $1m to benefit Haiti.”
The magazine quotes the 40-year-old model, who appears on the cover of the magazine’s anniversary issue, as saying: “When there is a crisis, we have to do something.”
Former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor is accused of war crimes and of allegedly trading uncut “blood” diamonds with rebels in Sierra Leone during its 1992 to 2002 civil war.
But the supermodel testified at the UN-backed trial against Taylor, in The Hague, that she did not initially know the “dirty-looking pebbles” were diamonds or that they were supposedly a gift from Taylor.

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry would “love” for Betty White to find her way to Wisteria Lane.
“I adore Betty,” he said. “She’s so astounding. I would love to have her do the show. She works harder than any of us.”
But getting the 88-year-old on to the show is no easy matter, he said. “She is constantly employed. I’m trying to just see if I can get her for dinner. It’s so hard to book her!”
Cherry, who has history with the veteran actress, having worked as a writer and producer on The Golden Girls, told People: “She’s a saucy, sexy gal and she’s a blast. It’s something that would make my heart very happy.”

There’s dedication for you… although it probably rules out the possibility of auntie Kylie Minogue ever having any kids of her own, or getting married. It seems that the singer is very serious on continuing her career forever, especially since she recently released her eleventh album. This is what Kylie Minogue said on the matter: “I can see me going out with a purple rinse. And one of my greatest idols, Dolly Parton, keeps on doing it. We’ll see.” Just as long as she doesn’t turn into a new Cher or a new Madonna, Kylie Minogue will be just fine… as far as pop stars go, at least.
The famous singer is going to go on a tour of the United Kingdom soon, a place she has not been to on tour for about a decade now. Whitney Houston said the following about her upcoming tour: “This is my first full tour since the ‘My Love Is Your Love’ tour in 1999 and I am so excited to be performing for my fans around the world after all this time. I am putting together a great show and cannot wait to perform the songs from my new album ‘I Look to You’ along with some of your favorites.” This statement really sounds a lot like one of those old “Uncle Sam wants you!” recruiting posters. Well, Whitney Houston will probably get her wish in regards to the UK… people there are always hungry for another fresh American act every once in a while.

It’s not profound stuff, then again, what can a 20 year old from California that’s grown up doing Disney movies have to say? She’s young, and I don’t think she has any profound political views yet, though as she matures, it will be interesting to read more of what she has to say. I’m looking forward to her doing action film, I think that would be a great direction for her to go in, especially with her big ‘goat toe’ enabling her to climb anything !!

Kelly Rowland was apparently kicked from her label Columbia Records (acording to many rumors). I guess her music just isn’t good enough to warrant being apart of the major label and no longer is ‘commercially viable’.
Kelly however tells a different story “Because Columbia Records has been my home base as an artist for more than a decade, the decision to move out on my own required a lot of soul-searching. As a solo artist, I felt the need to explore new directions, new challenges, and new freedoms outside my comfort zone and my friends and family at Columbia have been incredibly understanding about my evolution. I want to thank everyone at Columbia for the love and support they’ve shown and I will never forget how many good times we’ve had over the years.”

Madonna arrived in Malawi earlier this week with all of her children — David, 3, Lourdes 12, and Rocco, 8. She created quite an impression with her arrival when she flew in on her private jet and debarked from the plane wearing a 2000K Channel track suit.
Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s rep has now confirmed that she is trying to adopt a 4 year old girl named Chifundo “Mercy” James.
According to the AP release, the girl’s birth mom was 18, unmarried young teenager who died soon after she gave birth. The child’s birth father is thought to be alive but has little contact with his daughter as she has been living in an orphanage.
Madonna spent time visiting the child care center her charity founded as well as took her adopted son David to meet his biological father for the first time since he left Malawi with her back in 2006.
“Madonna is committed to maintaining an ongoing relationship with David’s Malawian roots,” Madonna’s statement added.
The judge in the case has delayed the hearing due to the negative publicity surrounding Madonna’s wishes to fast-track the adoption of another child from the country.
Fergie celebrated her 34th birthday at the Fontainebleau Resort’s Liv nightclub in Miami Beach on Friday night as a part of ROCK Fashion week, a four-day event that celebrates the fusion of music and fashion.
She looked quite stylish in her sexy silver dress and had this to say about her hubby Josh:
“Now that the wedding is over, we are so chill and comfortable together – the feeling I have about Josh is like coming home. There is that small and intimate feeling I have all of the time that tells me things are so right!”
