David and Victoria Beckham have reportedly forked out almost half a million pounds on a team of nannies for their baby daughter Harper Seven. The couple have apparently hired a morning helper, an afternoon assistant and a night nurse through a Los Angeles agency to help care for Harper, who they welcomed last month. A spokesman told the Daily Star, “They definitely have someone with them at all times.” But all that help doesn’t come cheap. “Their team of nannies is set to leave them with a monster £438,000-a-year bill,” added an insider. And a top priority is having someone that they can trust after former nanny Abbie Gibson, 28, spilled the beans on their marriage. “David and Victoria want to protect themselves and their family at all costs,” added the source.

Angelina Jolie has insisted that she has no plans to expand her six-strong brood. The 36-year-old actress, who is raising adopted children Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, and Zahara, six, biological daughter Shiloh, five, and twins Knox and Vivienne, two, with partner Brad Pitt, said that they are not currently considering adding to their family. She told The Independent, “We’re always open if it feels right, but we have a full house and, at the moment, nothing has become clear to us. “It’s the same, I suppose, as when somebody decides to get pregnant, there’s just a moment where something becomes clear to you and, at the moment, that’s not what we’re discussing.”

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is reportedly throwing her pal Victoria Beckham a ‘princess-pink’ themed baby shower. Eva, 36, is so excited by the arrival of the 37-year-old’s first daughter that she and friend and celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves are going all out. They are hosting a special private party on May 6 at LA’s Beverly Wilshire hotel, with an impressive guestlist lined up – including model Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Heidi Klum, Katie Holmes, Rachel Zoe, January Jones and Kate Beckinsale. A source told British newspaper the Daily Mirror: “The baby shower was all Eva’s idea, she sort of rail-roaded Victoria into it. “Eva and Ken are going totally over the top and camping it up. “As well as having baby-pink cupcakes and marshmallow towers, pink bubbly will be stored in a huge, ice-filled pram. “The plan is for a mini-tea party during which everyone will hand over their gifts. You can expect a lot of Tiffany merchandise and designer babygros. “Afterwards, a few select friends will go to Eva’s Hollywood restaurant, Beso, for dinner -Victoria’s a bit gutted because she will not be able to drink.”

The little one is barely twenty months old and already he is a fan of his mother’s music… or at least Jennifer Hudson seems to think so. This is what she had to say on the matter: “I love to share it with my baby, he’s so musical himself. It makes it that much more worthwhile to know that when he hears it he knows it’s me. It makes it that much more precious to share it with someone. When I was on tour I was pregnant with him and I guess he could hear me singing then, so he knows when he hears his mummy’s voice. I sing to him at night, that’s one way to calm him down or entertain him through music. He sings back to me too.” Well, Jennifer Hudson is lucky that she has such kid-friendly music. You didn’t see Ozzy Osbourne pulling this stuff with his kids.

The Kardashian ladies don’t have life quite as easy as you might imagine, or so they claim in this month’s Redbook magazine. The multi-millionaire socialites revealed that their life is not all parties and posh dinners. Kim, Khloé and Kourtney, their half sisters Kylie and Kendall and their mother Kris made an estimated $65 million last year. They have four TV shows, two fragrances, their DASH clothing boutique and a myriad of product endorsements from ‘body toning’ footwear to Silly Bandz plastic bracelets. The secret to their success? Hard work and very early mornings. Mum Kris, 55, expressed her infuriation at people like Piers Morgan who criticise her daughters for being ‘famous for being famous’ and those who say they are talentless. “It’s so annoying when I hear: ‘What do your girls do?’.” She said. “My kids worked from the time they were 13-years-old so for me that’s a huge misconception — that the girls don’t work. They work 25-hours a day.” Khloé said: “Mum used to wake me up before eight every day and say: ‘You can’t sleep past eight, you are ruining the day’.”

But this is not in a bad way. It seems that ever since Danii Minogue and Kris Smith have become parents, their number one priority is their little son Ethan. This is what Danii Minogue’s husband had to say on the matter: “There are no words that could describe how it feels to be a dad. It turns your life upside down and nothing is ever the same, and you never, ever want it any other way. Ethan dictates everything that goes on in our lives now, and he’s the happiest, most amazing baby ever.” Whatever makes Danii Minogue and Kris Smith happy… some other parents might actually learn a thing or two from this. They at least seem highly responsible about it.

Actress Julianne Moore has said she feels at her sexiest when she is away from her children. Moore admits it is difficult balancing motherhood and her sex life. The 50-year-old told US InStyle magazine: “I think [to feel sexy], you need to be away from your children. “Doing the mummy stuff does sort of squash that area of your life.” The Kids Are All Right star added that she feels at her sexiest when she is alone with her husband Bart Freundlich, 41, or when they take a trip. The pair married in August 2003 and have two children together, Caleb, 13, and Liv Helen, eight. Julianne says that it’s her daily chores that can put a halt on the couple’s sex life. She said: “The day-to-day of picking up kids and going to the eye doctor and then dropping them off at basketball and then going to the middle school concert, doesn’t make you feel very sexy.” But Moore doesn’t regret putting parenting first because she wants to spend as much time as possible with her husband and kids.

Denise Richards has admitted that she finds it ‘difficult’ keep ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s exploits away from their two daughters. The 39-year-old actress, who has Sam, six, and Lola, five, with the Two And A Half Men star said it is her priority to shield the girls from her troubled ex’s problems. Speaking to Access Hollywood, she said, “I think a lot of people are concerned about Charlie and my concern is obviously what becomes difficult is things become so public. “I try my best to keep that quiet from our daughters because, you know, this is something I’ve never dealt with in my life until this situation. “I’m learning how to deal with it and just keeping a lid on it for our kids has been my main priority and it does become difficult.” She revealed that her relationship with Sheen has improved since their divorce in 2006 as both strive to make a happy life for their daughters. “Thankfully, the last two years, Charlie and I have been in such a much better place and it makes it so much easier for our daughters,” she said.
