JLo competed in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon today. She actually completed the half mile swim, 18 mile bike ride and 4 mile run. Her time was 2 hours, 23 minutes and 28 seconds. Go JLo! I’m impressed since she had called in sick after she had injured her foot and was unable to make it as a final guest judge on “Project Runway.” Well she rested up and worked her booty off all in the name of raising money for charity.

Jennifer told the crowd after she crossed the finish line:

“I feel really great and so glad I finished and that I made it out of the water but more amazing than that, I feel really great that we raised $127,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and hopefully it’ll go to good use.”

Actor Matthew McConaughey also competed in the triathlon. He time was 1 hour, 30 minutes and 44.7 seconds.

JLo and her hubby celebrated her 39th birthday on Thursday by having a quiet night that included a Broadway show. Here is a picture of her dressed casually for their romantic evening together. She’s looking fabulous, motherhood must agree with her!

“We had such a blast last night,” Anthony, 39, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show Friday. “It’s almost like every day is her birthday … so last night we just wanted it to be quiet and, you know, have a nice quiet evening together.”

The two of them saw the Tony-winning musical “In the Heights” (about three days in an Upper Manhattan neighborhood), and got “to sit in an audience and watch other people be nervous,” Anthony said.

When asked if they planned on touring with their 5 months old twins Max and Emme:

“When your foundation is stable and you’re good, it doesn’t really affect anything. It just amplifies what the experience feels like. It’s that much more fulfilling, and you look forward to coming home. It’s a great time.”

Jennifer Lopez was being her usual self (diva) with a capital D shopping last week at the Catherine Malandrino boutique on Manhasset’s Miracle Mile.

“She demanded the store be shut down for her to shop alone, but they said, ‘Absolutely not,’ ” said our spy. “Then one of her eight-person entourage, including two bodyguards with their guns showing, was yelling at the clerk that Jennifer gets a 50 percent discount. Jennifer also tried on about a million outfits, then just threw it all in a pile in the dressing room and didn’t buy one thing.” J.Lo’s rep did not return a call.”

I really pisses me off that she ‘needs 50% off’ when she has that much money. If anyone needs 50 percent off now a days it is Lindsay Lohan, or regular folk like myself.

Either way it is funny to hear about her divalike ways.

Not sure how true this is, but a ’source’ told someone that Jennifer Lopez wants to be the perfect mom and breaks down in tears if her twins cry… Somehow I think it is a bit far fetched, but it is funny either way. I am glad Mark is keeping Jennifer under control.

The source said, “Jennifer wants to be the perfect mother, but she crumbles if any normal little thing goes wrong. If the twins cry, she thinks it’s because she’s a bad mom, and bursts into tears herself. Marc had to sit her down and make her understand that she’s a good mom and it’s normal for babies to cry.”

Jennifer Lopez’s manager has recently addressed rumors of a new ‘reality show’

“The recent show Jennifer Lopez plans to produce for TLC is not a reality show. It’s a show that will track the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life.”

I can’t believe Jennifer got a show about this. Who cares about her picking out a perfume and having a bunch of people doing the work. I know how those perfume gigs are they take a few sniffs and pick on and the companies do the rest of the work.

J Lo’s coming out with another fragrance to add to her collection., Deseo which is Spanish for ‘Desire’, will make its debut this February. The perfume is aimed for a mature clientèle and there is supposedly going to be a mens’ version coming out sometime in the fall.

I guess perfume is really a big cash cow for celebrities, it seems like everybody and their dog has a fragrance!

Jennifer Lopez has been recently touring around the states for her “Brave” tour. There is one city that she happened to skip! Can you guess which one? Apparently she won’t be performing in Boston due to it being Ben Afflects home town!  I doubt he is even there right now, he is probably out banging some strippers!

It’s where [ex-boyfriend] Ben Affleck proposed to her and where Ben is from.” Since their 2004 split, J.Lo and Ben “have not been friends,” adds the pal. “She’s mad that he continues to trash her and their relationship in the media.”

I know Star is definitely not a credible magazine, but if it could have a grain of truth!

Check out the outfit she wore to a taping of David Letterman. What look is she going for ? Did her fashion stylist take the day off? Give the girl a whistle, she can direct traffic!
Marc Anthony’s ex-wife, Dayanara Torres, who is a former Miss Universe is now saying that she was misquoted and just released the following statement:
“I have neither confirmed, nor have first-hand knowledge of any pregnancy. I had been advised of pregnancy ‘rumors’ by my manager who wanted to make sure I was aware in case my children heard anything at school that I may need to address; so when I was approached by a reporter who stated as fact that my children were to have a new sibling soon, I assumed that this had been confirmed. My answer to him was that though they had no knowledge of a sibling, that I imagine that they will be incredibly happy. Marc, his family and I have a very respectful and mature relationship which we work hard to conserve for the benefit of our children.”
That’s it honey, keep those child support payments rolling in!

 Apparently Jennifer Lopez is pregnant. Obviously Jenny from the block hasn’t come out with a public announcement because all celebrities know they need to keep it secret until they are almost about to pop!  This of course leads to the “bump watch’ on many celebrity blogs and television shows. As we can see in these pics Jennifer may be sporting a mini bump.

“The test calculated that she was about 12 weeks pregnant and she’s due in the spring.” - Says a source

“The way the fetus is lying made it difficult for the doctor to tell if there was more than one baby in there,” says the insider.

Reports are saying that Jennifer and her hubby Marc Anthony have been trying to conceive for two years, and after many failed attempts the couple opted for in vitro fertilization (which has a high possibility of twins!).
