Chris Brown’s biological father is the latest family member that has something to say about the ‘situation’ that is going on between Chris Brown and Rihanna.

Clinton Brown, a 44-year-old corrections officer, told People:

“He’s reflecting on this situation. He’s very remorseful. He’s very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna's] okay. This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation. Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip… This music industry is very unforgiving when it comes to having indiscretions. He will continue to be a good person. He loves people. And like most of us, most humans, things will occur. And hopefully a person won’t be judged simply on that alone.”

“This music industry is very unforgiving when it comes to having indiscretions”. I disagree with Daddy Brown referring to this assault as a “stumble” or a “shortcoming”. His son hit a woman. This is not some minor thing.

Not a good enough apology, and besides, actions speak louder than second hand words. It will be interesting to see when and if his baby boy will man up. Chris beat her up, shouting “I’m gonna kill you” loud enough so that an 911 operator can hear, then splits the scene.

He hires a celebrity attorney to drive him to the police station as he hides under a blanket to sneak in the back door. He bailed out after 45 minutes or so, and then takes off in a private jet to Vegas for a few days.

Sensitive move.

Jessica is on tour with Rascal Flatts and she opened the show on Thursday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

During the concert, Jessica gave the women in the audience this little tidbit of advice:

“To any woman out there who is in an abusive relationship, let me tell you that each and every single woman, you can take your heart and run so far away and fall in love again, and that’s the reason I recorded this song called ‘Remember That’.”

Jessica also told the audience this bit of info:

“So I have to say that every time I’ve performed Madison Square Garden my pants have completely ripped in half because I’d go down and hit a note, so tonight I decided to wear a little, like ‘Scort,’ not a skirt, but it’s like shorts, just so they wouldn’t split, anyways!”

Hmm, if her ex-hubby Nick didn’t abuse her he needs to speak up! In light of the Chris/RiRi alleged assault recently, discussions about domestic violence are going to be going on much more. If she isn’t referring to Nick and she means someone else, who could it be, and if she means Nick, this kind of talk could ruin him because scandalous talk spreads like wild fire.

What a difference a few hours make. Shortly after the picture was taken, the two lovebirds got into an argument that ended up with him being arrested and her being taken to hospital.

They had been at the Clive Davis Grammy Party, left together in this sweet ride which Chris supposedly had rented for 2 k a day. Apparently, something was said, Chris didn’t like hearing it, and he assaulted RiRi… enough to leave visible injuries. As she got out of the car, he took off. Police were called and a warrant was issued for his arrest and she was taken to the hospital with what an inside source said were “bites and scratches.”

He ended up being driven to the police station several hours later by his high priced attorney Mark Geragos where he surrendered and was booked, charged, and bail set at 50k. Bail was paid, and he was released.

Osama Lutfi, aka Sam Lutfi, Britney’s former ‘manager’ was served a restraining order the other day by Britney’s attorneys and he has now reacted to that by filing documents suing her and her parents for slander.

His court papers allege she broke an oral contract with him for his services and owes him thousands of dollars in unpaid fees. What kind of manager was he that he had an oral contract with someone who is mentally unfit to take care of herself?

Sam also claims in his court papers that her parents: “began a campaign of slander, libel and defamation aimed at discrediting, destroying and physically and emotionally intimidating Lutfi in order to drive him out of Britney’s life.”

He says since Britney’s mom’s book came out he has lost his reputation. No, he did that all on his own with the way he mis-handled her and her career. Is he even a credited manager? Does he have a license?

Hairspray starlet Nikki Blonsky is insisting that her family is still as close as ever after having gone through that airport dual family brawl with America’s Next Top Model former contestant Bianca Golden.

She tells People:

“We are a very strong family, we love each other and nothing will ever tear us down. I don’t even need to defend myself. It’s pretty obvious that it was just a big scam.”

Nikki talked about her father saying:

“He’s a strong man. He is my hero because he showed me that no matter what happens in life you can make it through. I never expected that somebody would try to use my fame to get themselves fame.”

She’s calling that whole fiasco a scam? Her dad is awaiting trial, as Bianca’s mother ended up in the ICU! Interesting that Nikki thinks Bianca is trying to “use her fame”. You have to have fame in order for people to steal it and when you are both on the D list… really… there is nothing to steal.

I seriously doubt Bianca even knew who Nikki was when this started. You know both Bianca and Nikki did interviews when this first happened, but Bianca has since stayed quiet, Nikki should too, it’s all blown over now, no one really cares anyways!

This past August, Dr. Dre’s 20-year old son, Andre Young Jr., died from unknown causes. Today it was announced that the exact cause of death was revealed by an LA County Coroner representative:

“This case has been closed, it’s been ruled an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication.”

Dr. Dre hustled drugs as a teen, and his music encouraged people to blaze and now his son has lost his life due to drugs. Parents warned him about his lyrics and songs, and he must now understand the pain caused by those who have lost their children due to drugs. Perhaps now he and other rappers will not be so quick to encourage that lifestyle.

An update on an incident that hapened earlier this year involving Hairspray actress Nikki Blonsky and America’s Next Top Model alum Bianca Golden. Their families got into an altercation at the Turks and Caicos airport this past July 29th.

Blonsky’s father reportedly assaulted Golden’s mom wherein she had to be taken to the hospital.

The assault charges against Nikki Blonsky have officially been dropped and both she as well as Golden have been cleared of all charges with regards to their family fight last July.

Turks and Caicos Police Sgt. Calvin Chase was quoted saying:

“The cases against Nikki Blonsky and Bianca Golden have been dropped. The only case that is still proceeding is against [Blonsky's] father.”

Her father Carl still faces charges of assault and inflicting grievous bodily harm, and if he’s convicted, he can receive up to five years in jail.

No reason was given as to why the charges against the two women were dropped.

TMZ is reporting that a Florida florist claims Timbaland owes them more than $10,000 in holiday decorations.

The White Tulip Florist in Miami Beach filed the legal papers so they could put a lien on Timbaland’s Miami mansion. Their affidavit alleges he bought $25,850 worth of trees, flowers and lights but has not paid the bill in ful, he still owes them $11,450.

Apparently, Timbaland became enraged when he got their bill and demanded to see the wholesale cost of the items. The florist showed him, but he still was upset and has so far refused to pay the balance.

According to a news report, Mos Def’s attorneys are suing him for $60,000 after he did not pay for the legal work done on his expensive divorce from ex-wife Maria Yepes back in 2006.

That’s not the only legal trouble the actor/rapper needs to sort out. This past August, Mos is alleged to have assaulted a fashion photographer in Las Vegas. He was charged with felony robbery and malicious destruction of private property after Volker Corell says he ripped a camera from his neck, smashed it to the ground and then took off with it during a confrontation in Las Vegas in August (08).

The Cook County state’s attorney’s office officially charged William Balfour with the murders of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew. He has 3 counts of first degree murder and one count of home invasion. He was denied bail.

It was also revealed that Balfour’s probably motive for the murders was because he was jealous that his ex-wife, Jennifer Hudson’s sister, Julia, was dating another man.

A prosecutor told a Chicago court on Wednesday that Balfour had been at the Hudson home the morning of the slayings and saw a birthday gift he believed had been given to Julia from a boyfriend Balfour had threatened her about earlier that month at her job.

In the press release it stated:

“…that the State’s Attorney and cops said they’re “confident” about their case, which some unnamed sources have claimed is “mainly circumstantial.” They said they do have physical evidence tying Balfour to the scene, and emphasized they did not cut a deal with Balfour’s girlfriend to elicit her testimony.”
