It seems that the singer’s pregnancy hasn’t panned out too well as Lily Allen has recently suffered a miscarriage. This is what a representative of hers had to say on the matter: “It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made.” Well, Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are young, they can still give it another shot, although Lily Allen’s more frivolous lifestyle of the past might just yet be showing it’s dark little claws.
Here’s somebody who seems to have taken settling down very seriously. Lily Allen recently won three prizes at the Ivor Novello Awards, but she doesn’t care much for her success. All Lily Allen cares about is moving into her new house, as she admitted herself: “I haven’t finished moving at all. I’m here but I’m also thinking of all the boxes in my kitchen that I need to organize.” Maybe Lily Allen is actually going to take quitting music seriously too… she sure doesn’t seem like she’s going to be concentrating on her work too much anyway.

Lilly Allen is finished with making music records, according to her new blog.
The singer has written on her anti-piracy website that she will not make a follow-up to this year’s hit CD It’s Not Me, It’s You.
She recently revealed she would be starring in a stage production of Neil LaBute’s Reasons To Be Pretty and would not “record and tour again for a while”.
Now, writing on her It’s Not Alright blog, she said she would not be profiting from any change in copyright legislation as she is finished with recording music.
She wrote: “Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record (applause).
“I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade.”
She added: “The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I’m concerned, so I don’t (at this point) stand to profit from legislation.
“Except future purchases of previously recorded material (which wont be much).”
