Paris Hilton’s mum sympathises with Dina Lohan, as she knows what it’s like to have a daughter in prison.

Lindsay Lohan, 24, is serving a 90-day sentence in the same Californian prison that Paris Hilton, 28, was locked up in three years ago.

Paris’s mum Kathy told RadarOnline.com: “I have sympathy for Dina Lohan right now. I feel bad for any parent whose child is in jail, it can be really tough.

“Those days when Paris was in jail were some of the most difficult of my life – it is hard for any parent to deal with. Unfortunately, if you do not follow the rules then this is what can happen – it’s part of the rules of our society.”

She added: “I think Lindsay will learn from this experience. To be in a small cage like that by yourself certainly gives you time to think about things. And for the parent on the outside it is very hard, too.”

Michael Lohan will not release tapes of his daughter Lindsay Lohan again, he says.

Michael, who has been on a self-styled tough love crusade to save Lindsay, released tapes of her voice recordings to the public after making several rants to the media about her alleged prescription drug problems.

The tapes along with other taped family conversations that came to light contained revelations about not just Lindsay, but the entire Lohan family. Such skeletons as mother Dina’s domestic violence past, Lindsay’s dating Heath Ledger and Lindsay’s alleged self-mutilation aired.

Lindsay, who is completing court-ordered probation, has been reportedly fuming and on the verge of applying for a restraining order against her father.

But Michael has now said: “I will not release another audiotape about Lindsay. I did it because I wanted Lindsay to know how I felt when I heard that tape. When I get a phone call at two, three, four or five in the morning from my daughter and she’s in dire straits, I get very concerned.”

The singer turned actress or model or whatever it is Lindsay Lohan is “working” at lately has admitted that her professional life is a big part of the complex pastiche that is her existence. Lindsay Lohan is quoted as saying: “It’s not that hard to be me, but I do work harder than most of my friends’ parents. I am the hardest-working person I know. I’m a workaholic. I don’t know what to do when I’m not working. I get creatively frustrated.” I’d say being Lindsay Lohan is actually very hard… especially that getting creatively frustrated part. Most people undertake leisure activities when not working… maybe Lindsay Lohan should try that if she really has no idea of what to do when not working.

Michael Lohan, father of the singer and actress, is very glad that his daughter has split from DJ Samantha Ronson and is getting along with her life, but he is concerned that she may lose it once more and maybe rekindle the scorned relationship. He said the following about Lindsay Lohan: “Lindsay has another chance now. If Samantha does come back in her life, it is all going to go downhill.” That’s good fatherhood for you, especially considering the fact that Lindsay Lohan has been a paragon of stability and self-reliance since she split up from Samantha Ronson. Oh well, no worries, I’m sure her biker friends can help Lindsay Lohan get out of any mess she might encounter.

Mel B has said she is "tight" with pal Lindsay Lohan, who has already been to see Mel’s new burlesque show.

The former Spice Girl is performing in Peep Show in Las Vegas and was asked about pal Lindsay Lohan. She said: "Yeah, she’s so sweet. She came to support me on the first night of the show."

She added to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on KIIS FM: "Yeah, yeah she’s lovely."

Asked if Lindsay might be making a cameo appearance onstage at the show, Mel replied: "I don’t know about that. I don’t know."

Mel plays the role of Peep Diva and Mel admitted she got hypnotised by a pal to combat nerves.

She said: "I never have a fear of being onstage, I’m always very excited. But I will confess, I did let my friend hypnotise me to remember my words but I don’t know if it worked."

She added: "It’s a very sexy show, you know, it’s got $25million pumped into it. There’s things flying from the ceiling. There’s people flying from the ceiling also."

Mel is married to Stephen Belafonte and she admitted her husband chose her outfit for the show. She said: "It seems like I’m naked but I’m not because I’m in a fishnet body stocking with stuff just covering up the appropriate bits."

Mel denied she has had surgery but said: "Well, none that I want to discuss right now, no."

UsWeekly asked Stevie Nicks frontwoman for the band Fleetwood Mac what her thoughts were about Lindsay Lohan playing her in a movie, Stevie said:

“Over my dead body. She needs to stop doing drugs and get a grip. Then maybe we’ll talk.”

Stevie struggled hard to get clean and went through two stays in Betty Ford to kick coke and Klonopin so it makes sense to me why wouldn’t want Lindsay whose behaviour lately has been way too erratic to play her. In fact, the “…Then maybe we’ll talk” is more than reasonable to me.

Passion Nightclub in Hollywood, Florida, is willing to try again.

Lindsay Lohan and SaMAN Ronson recently canceled their Valentine’s Day gig due to an “illness” but now that they have recovered, it’s back on again. The club promoters seem excited they are set to return. Here is the latest press release:

“Passion Nightclub, part of Seminole Paradise at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will present ‘Redux’ a special event hosted by actress Lindsay Lohan and featuring music by celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson on Saturday, March 7.”

The press release goes on:

“This one-night-only special event is a rescheduling of the duo’s February 14 show that was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. ‘I’m really looking forward to making up the Valentines gig on March 7th at Passion Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock,’ said Samantha Ronson.”

It’s a bargain, only $20 cover charge at the door!

Lindsay and stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe lent their support to designer Matthew Williamson at the opening of his new store in NYC.

Lindsay addressed the rumours that she has stopped eating by informing all concerned that she “had my Big Mac yesterday from McDonald’s.” That’s probably all she ate in days though.

She blames her skinny new frame with the “stress” of “working a lot.”

Really? I didn’t realize she considered hanging out with SaMan while she does her DJing gigs work!

She added:

“They’ve already said everything about me that they can say. And I’ve never really cared then. I’m my own person, and people can say whatever they want. I’m still going to be the person that I am. And I think that’s so important for people in Hollywood. People have their ups and downs. Kids in college get DUIs. Everyone goes through something, and everyone can relate to something. I think that I don’t ever want to pretend to be something that I’m not. I’m not perfect; nobody is perfect. If you try to be perfect, you’ll probably go crazy. But you should always accept yourself for who you are. And that’s what I’ve done, and I’m happy.”

Lindsay said SaMan was still sick in Los Angeles, and that everything between them is fine, even though there are stories of the two of them having a public spat.

There is a problem with knowing what a healthy body image is in Hollyweird these days. Anexoria? Cocaine addiction? These two look as if they live on nothing but coffee & cigarettes! These are not the kind of role models little girls should be looking up to.

A mixed blessing happened today. Michael Lohan is giving up his blog which is a very good thing for Lindsay and the rest of their family as it will hopefully put an end to all of the scandalous private family gossip that he was subjecting the world to.

Wonder if Lindsay’s legal team served him with some papers that finally convinced him to stop his public criticisim of her?

Daddy Lohan posted this statement on his blog:

“Well here you have it. My final blog. And for those of you who are doubters or knockers, let me say that I never took a penny for my blog or anything I ever did for any of my children. I did what I did, out of love and concern, regardless of any of your opinions. I did it to help them, advance their careers and give them hope. I taught them [His kids] that anything is possible if you really want it enough, and that when your heart is in the right place, God will make it all happen!

And although I have full confidence in Jonathan Jaxson (Who is the mastermind behind some of the best stories/blogs out there.), I have to say that when it comes to my innocent children, who are at risk and have nothing to do with the situation at hand, I have to respect their request. (ie “I was issued a cease and desist.”)

Before I go, however, I must say that I received a text message from a very close and dear friend of Lindsay’s who I trust and admire. The text said, “between you and me you are doing the right thing. From what I hear, from Lindsay’s nearest and dearest friends, Lindsay is worse off than ever since she she has been with Sam. I told Dina that Lindsay needs you back in her life, and I think you know that I was the one who really helped Linds get into rehab.”

Without divulging this person’s identity, let me say that I know this person and I trust him/her very much. As a matter of fact, I spent time with him/her and wish that he/she was still part of Lindsay’s life.

For the record, when it comes to sexual preference, I am not biased. What matters most is the substance of an individual rather than their preference.It is the love and intent behind the relationship that matters. Something I can not give much credence to when it comes to Samantha. Just look at Samantha’s tax returns before she “engaged” Lindsay, and then after! Look at Lindsay’s career before Samantha and after! Look at all the things Lindsay accomplished and had going for her before Samantha and after. And finally, consider how Lindsay spent every holiday with her family before she met Samantha and then after. Would Lindsay ever leave her little sister in LA with Jenni, and leave with Samantha like she recently did when she went to Boston?! NEVER!

I was with Lindsay when she got out of Cirque Lodge. I saw and experienced the “old Lindsay” with so much hope and promise. I had full confidence in her. Then back came Samantha! Can’t you all see this? Am I speaking to stone walls? (No Michael, you’re speaking to padded walls) All I ask that you put your selves in my shoes and HONESTLY consider what you would do.

As I said, this is my final blog, and I hope what I have said and expressed to you and Lindsay, have a positive effect on your lives.

Lindsay Lohan released a new statement to Life & Style to ‘address’ the rumors still buzzing that she and Samantha Ronson have broken up. I see what she’s doing. She complains about the invasion of her privacy but insists on making statements or putting things on her blog. She needs to get a decent acting job, use whatever talent she has left and make a ‘comeback’ because this luv affair between them is stale.

She says:

“We never broke up,” says Lohan. “People don’t have to be together every second. It’s healthy to miss someone, and if you’re in it for the long run, it’s good to know that.”

Apparently some ’source’ who is close with both girls told the magazine that they are:

‘dialing things down’ in an effort to save their relationship and confirmed that Lindsay did move out of the house they were sharing together.

The snitch says, “They needed space and time. They’ve been on top of each other with living and work and life. Lindsay’s now in a new house around the corner from Sam. It’s going to allow them some space.”

The source added:

“They break up and make up all the time. There are a lot of speed bumps in this relationship — but that’s part of the attraction.”

Here they were doing a public display of togetherness. They went and had sushi together.
