A mixed blessing happened today. Michael Lohan is giving up his blog which is a very good thing for Lindsay and the rest of their family as it will hopefully put an end to all of the scandalous private family gossip that he was subjecting the world to.

Wonder if Lindsay’s legal team served him with some papers that finally convinced him to stop his public criticisim of her?

Daddy Lohan posted this statement on his blog:

“Well here you have it. My final blog. And for those of you who are doubters or knockers, let me say that I never took a penny for my blog or anything I ever did for any of my children. I did what I did, out of love and concern, regardless of any of your opinions. I did it to help them, advance their careers and give them hope. I taught them [His kids] that anything is possible if you really want it enough, and that when your heart is in the right place, God will make it all happen!

And although I have full confidence in Jonathan Jaxson (Who is the mastermind behind some of the best stories/blogs out there.), I have to say that when it comes to my innocent children, who are at risk and have nothing to do with the situation at hand, I have to respect their request. (ie “I was issued a cease and desist.”)

Before I go, however, I must say that I received a text message from a very close and dear friend of Lindsay’s who I trust and admire. The text said, “between you and me you are doing the right thing. From what I hear, from Lindsay’s nearest and dearest friends, Lindsay is worse off than ever since she she has been with Sam. I told Dina that Lindsay needs you back in her life, and I think you know that I was the one who really helped Linds get into rehab.”

Without divulging this person’s identity, let me say that I know this person and I trust him/her very much. As a matter of fact, I spent time with him/her and wish that he/she was still part of Lindsay’s life.

For the record, when it comes to sexual preference, I am not biased. What matters most is the substance of an individual rather than their preference.It is the love and intent behind the relationship that matters. Something I can not give much credence to when it comes to Samantha. Just look at Samantha’s tax returns before she “engaged” Lindsay, and then after! Look at Lindsay’s career before Samantha and after! Look at all the things Lindsay accomplished and had going for her before Samantha and after. And finally, consider how Lindsay spent every holiday with her family before she met Samantha and then after. Would Lindsay ever leave her little sister in LA with Jenni, and leave with Samantha like she recently did when she went to Boston?! NEVER!

I was with Lindsay when she got out of Cirque Lodge. I saw and experienced the “old Lindsay” with so much hope and promise. I had full confidence in her. Then back came Samantha! Can’t you all see this? Am I speaking to stone walls? (No Michael, you’re speaking to padded walls) All I ask that you put your selves in my shoes and HONESTLY consider what you would do.

As I said, this is my final blog, and I hope what I have said and expressed to you and Lindsay, have a positive effect on your lives.

Lindsay Lohan released a new statement to Life & Style to ‘address’ the rumors still buzzing that she and Samantha Ronson have broken up. I see what she’s doing. She complains about the invasion of her privacy but insists on making statements or putting things on her blog. She needs to get a decent acting job, use whatever talent she has left and make a ‘comeback’ because this luv affair between them is stale.

She says:

“We never broke up,” says Lohan. “People don’t have to be together every second. It’s healthy to miss someone, and if you’re in it for the long run, it’s good to know that.”

Apparently some ‘source’ who is close with both girls told the magazine that they are:

‘dialing things down’ in an effort to save their relationship and confirmed that Lindsay did move out of the house they were sharing together.

The snitch says, “They needed space and time. They’ve been on top of each other with living and work and life. Lindsay’s now in a new house around the corner from Sam. It’s going to allow them some space.”

The source added:

“They break up and make up all the time. There are a lot of speed bumps in this relationship — but that’s part of the attraction.”

Here they were doing a public display of togetherness. They went and had sushi together.

SaMan’s DJ fees have risen from $1,500 to as much as $25K per show according to the New York Daily News. They estimate her total income for 2008 to be approximately $3 million.

They allege that the pay hike is partly because club promoters know where Sam goes, Lindsay is usually with her. A source told them:

“Sam’s now asking for a lot more money to spin,” They went on to say:

“And she’s getting it easily.”

The club promoters must think she has tremendous skillz mixing beats otherwise she wouldn’t keep getting hired. Regardless of having Linds as her main squeeze now, she was making a living before hooking up with her.

Lindsay Lohan’s Mattel Doll has not been selling well (is anyone surprised?) and the price has just been slashed by 80%. The MyScene dolls were released about 4 or 5 years ago back in the day when Lindsay was cool.

Maybe if she had been made into a Bratz doll… they would have sold more of them!

Page Six is claiming that the drama between Lindsay and her lover SaMan’s tiffs have gotten so intense, they are now going to couple’s therapy. I’m wondering if the reason may be because Lindsay is up to her old tricks. She seems to show up to so many openings of new places where alcohol and drugs are easily available.

She doesn’t seem to understand that her behavior is holding back her career. She needs to get a new agent who will help her find some decent work utilizing what’s left of her talents. Or… could it be
because she may not really know exactly what she wants yet, and now someone else’s feelings are involved and it’s not fair for them ? It’s not a good scenario as it always ends in tears.

“They fight every day, screaming, crying and yelling at each other. Sam and Lindsay are still very much together and very much in love, but drama just seems to follow Lindsay, and Sam hates it. She deals with Lindsay every day. And every day for Sam means questioning, ‘Is this worth it?’ ”

Lindsay Lohan sat down for a chat for the December issue of Harper’s Bazaar. She went through a very difficult (seemingly out of control period a couple of years ago) but seems to be on the right path today. She said to the magazine:

“I think that I’m happy.”

I find that an odd way to respond. She thinks? Doesn’t she know? You either are or you aren’t.

She didn’t really want to mention why or who may be the reason for her new found happiness because:

“The second I start talking about whomever I’m seeing, a month or two later it’s failed,” though it has been VERY obvious to everyone who reads any of the gossip blogs or tabloids who she’s been spending so much time with lately.

Lindsay and Samatha Ronson have been photographed together for months. They’ve been snapped by the paps at numerous clubs where Samantha works as a deejay, at Samantha’s sister’s fashion show in New York, and wearing bikinis on the beach in Los Cabos, Mexico.

“I think it’s pretty obvious who I’m seeing,” Lindsay says and she goes on to add: “She’s a wonderful person and I love her very much.”

When asked if Lindsay is a lesbian, she answers:

I checked out her blog yesterday morning and she had this to say about her experience shooting the TV show:

“2 days left of my shoot on Ugly Betty-I am quite sad to have to leave the wonderful cast and crew behind. It’s always sad to leave people that you get close to… It’s been such a delight to be a part of this show!!-My sister, Aliana, is visiting me on set today and I loooove having her around… she makes me smile, just like another certain someone love you baby xoxo”.

Was that a sly lil reference to SaMan?

She also ranted at vice-presidential hopeful Sarah Palin on her blog, calling her a “narrow-minded, media-obsessed homophobe.”

I had a chuckle when she called Palin media-obsessed, she’s a famewh**e herself!

As Lindsay was walking into The Bowery Hotel in NYC Sunday night — the same place J.Lo was throwing a birthday party for Marc Anthony, she tripped over a metal barricade. It seems as if Lindsay was under the impression that one of the paps tripped her because she turned around and punched a photographer in his face.

She was chatting on her cell at the time and after hitting the guy said to the person on the other end of the line:

“Oh my God, I just hit a paparazzi.”

The police came to the scene, but did not file any charges. I suppose the reason the majority of these incidents never go beyond the initial police call is probably due to the lack of any clear evidence or the incident isn’t even worth the paperwork that would have to be filed just to then have the case tossed out of the courts!

Michael Lohan has fired a response back to Lindsay’s response about him bashing Samantha’s Book…

“Who’s out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break. Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins.She’s gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who’s out of control? I go to church. I go and help people in rehab. That’s control. How can she say I’m out of control? I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay .

Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life.That’s what Dina told me. I’m reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy. Dina’s a two-face. She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay’s good side instead of being a good parent. I don’t give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she’s going to turn around to me and tell me, ‘Daddy, you were right.?

Oh the Lohans they are always full of backstabbing and gossip. I don’t know why Michael Lohan doesn’t just shut up. Even if Samantha is using poor old Linds, I think she hates it more that her Dad talks to the press. I hate their drama but at the same time I crave it!

Samantha Ronson is supposedly writing a “Tell All Book” about her and Lindsay Lohan.. Michael Lohan was pissed and made sure that he told the media about it. He said “She’s using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she’s writing a book? I am at wit’s end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay’s best interest.”

Lindsay was definitely not impressed by her fathers media antics (although I am surprised she doesn’t care about the book…. unless she is in on the deal..
