Mimi’s marriage may be on the rocks! The whirlwind romance seems to be over. I am not sure who this source is but it sounds about right. Mariah Carey is really demanding and I am surprised Nick thought he could control this diva!

Mimi and her much younger hubby made an appearance together for the first time since their wedding nuptials.They emerged from their marital cocoon to attend the Time Magazine’s Most Influential People party. Mimi performed for the crowd and then the two had dinner at the Waverly Inn.

Tyler Perry was asked by Us Magazine whether or not he thought his friend Mariah Carey would be a great mother. He said,

“Absolutely!”
“Her baby would be in Gucci, Chanel and diamonds from birth,” the director said at Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World party in New York City Thursday.

Hmm, is this the new test for what makes a great mom? Being able to purchase expensive luxury items for children and marrying someone much younger than her that she has only dated for a month?

Mariah Carey is “over the moon” about her wedding to Nick Cannon, People is reporting.
Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley told People: “I received an email from her [Monday] and she is so happy. She really sounds like someone on her honeymoon.” Talley went on to say: “For Mariah, this is poetry,” and that the wedding came together so quickly that, “I didn’t have the time to offer her any style tips!” I wonder how long their marital bliss will last?

Mariah Carey’s album cover has recently surfaced. It is actually not bad although the pink font doesn’t really match the photo. I really like the all black cover with Mariah in the white fancy dress. I definitely prefer this cover, to Janet’s scary cover. I wonder if they will revamp the font like they did with Ashlee Simpson’s cover for Bitter Sweet World.

I am not quite sure why Mariah thinks she can get away with wearing hideous shoes like that! This photo of her was taken yesterday outside of the MTV studio.  I wonder if she is tempted to click her heels together like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz? Although she may fall over because those are not the average heel. I bet she put those shoes on and was like these will definitely get me some attention (and sure enough it did!).

Information about Mariah Carey’s new album has leaked! The album is called “That Chick” and I have to say the tentative cover looks super hot! I love how she has just a hat covering her up. Mariah sure loves to show us her sexy naked side! There have been a lot of major producers and song writers that have helped Mariah with this album. Will I Am, Jermaine Dupri, Rodney Jerkins and The Dream. I bet this album will be an instant success because Mariah has so many followers!

Diddy’s has challenged a few ladies to a “smell-off.” He said, “I send out a challenge…I challenge all of my female counterparts that have fragrances…that my fragrance is better than theirs. I’m a man and I know how women should smell!”

Mariah Carey has responded to this challenge by saying “I heard about this competition, and I wish Puff all the best with his new fragrance, but I think we’re actually appealing to different types of women. M by Mariah Carey is about being unforgettable, not unforgivable. It’s not about a ménage à trois or a one night stand, it’s for the woman who wants the man to fall in love with her immediately, stay in love, and treat her like royalty.”

I love how Mariah is going for that royalty approach, but I think guys who buy perfume for their ladies may be willing to give Diddy’s a try!
