Now that the singer is able to see things in a different light, she’s been able to really open up about her ordeal. She said “Yeah, the marriage part didn’t quite work out. Apparently that’s a bit of an epidemic, so I just make light of it. Coming to terms with the fact that my marriage was a failure was devastating and very difficult. I blamed myself for a lot of things. It took me a very long time to get over it. I have amazing friends, great family and two kids, so I just got out of bed everyday and kept moving forward. I’m not one to sit and wallow — I would rather figure out a way around so I can move past it and be at peace with things. I don’t like bad feelings gnawing away at me. So I’ve certainly done a lot of growing up in the past couple of years, recognizing bad traits in myself and others.” It’s amazing how much time can make a difference.
Journalist Celia Walden has said her husband Piers Morgan’s job on CNN has been an ‘unnecessary hurdle’ in their first year of marriage. The 34-year-old married Morgan, 46, in June last year after dating him for the past five years. She admitted that her hubby’s new role on the US show Piers Morgan Tonight has been tough for her living in the UK. Speaking about their first year of marriage, she said to Britain’s Stylist magazine: “We’d literally just got back from our honeymoon when Piers got offered the job in America and I think the last thing any new bride expects is for her husband to be like: ‘See ya!’ “I did feel a bit conned, especially because I’ve been home on my own and every time I turn on the telly I’ve got his mug staring back at me. “This last year has definitely felt testing, not of the strength of our relationship, but in the sense that it’s just felt wrong for both of us. It’s been a bit of an unnecessary hurdle really.”

Julia Roberts has revealed she and husband Danny Moder only argue maybe once a year. The couple met on the set of The Mexican in 2000 and went on to have twins Hazel and Finn, six, and three-year-old Henry. And after more than a decade together, Roberts said they are closer than ever. “We are always happy. We maybe will have an argument once a year just to get it out of our system so we don’t make people sick,” she told People. “We’ve shared a room for 12 years and we lived in the same apartment building. We liked living together. So we know everything about each other. We’re very close.” Roberts recently teamed up with Moder for forthcoming movie Jesus Henry Christ, she as a producer, he as a cinematographer. She said it was nice to see how seriously he takes his work. “It was so great to be working on the same movie with him. He’s so good at what he does. He’s so clear and focused. It’s actually hard to get his attention on the set because he’s really like, ‘No, I’m working’. But at lunch I will be like, ‘Hi, remember me, your wife?’”

This is what Carrie Underwood said on the matter and especially one of the challenges in particular: “Well, we started out you know we got married. He went back to Canada. I went back to Nashville… then he got traded to Nashville. He came and he brought all of his crap with him. Our house became…he’s not a hoarder but he’s close, maybe.” Well in all fairness it was Carrie Underwood who convinced Mike Fisher to move to Nashville… an act for which the people of Ottawa are probably never going to forgive her for. Apparently she’s regretting it a bit in her own way as well.
Lamar Odom has revealed that meeting wife Khloe Kardashain changed his attitude towards relationships. The 31-year-old Los Angeles Lakers player admitted that he previously never wanted the ‘responsibility’ that comes with a relationship, but he soon realised that if he carried on that way, he would have lost the reality star. He told People, “Being married, that’s a responsibility. “I always used to tell that to women. I don’t want a girlfriend because that means I’ve got a responsibility. Most men like more than one woman. “With her I was like, ‘If I do what I normally do, I’m going to lose her’. And if I lose her, I think it’s going to hurt a lot. Right then and there I knew. We were together every day.” The couple tied the knot in September 2009.

This is what Dannii Minogue related on the matter: “My fiance and then husband was living and working in America, but he had only just started working there and I was financing both of our living costs in both countries at 22. London and New York are expensive cities, we had nice things. And then every two weeks I flew back and forth, so that I could see him, get back to work, earn some more money, get back there again.” It looks like Dannii Minogue was pretty much chasing her own tail half of the time. Catherine Zeta-Jones battled to keep her composure as she told the crowds at the Ryder Cup that cancer-stricken husband Michael Douglas is ‘holding up’. The Welsh actress was in her home country as part of the golf event’s Welcome to Wales concert in Cardiff on Wednesday. According to Digital Spy, the 41-year-old was visibly upset and had to ask for some tissues when she told the audience that Michael is responding well to treatment for a stage four tumour on the back of his tongue. She said, “He is holding up with strength and dignity. He’s not travelling with me. He’s just finished his treatment. He’s holding up very well and everyone couldn’t be happier with his progress.” The Hollywood star, who has two children with Douglas, has previously voiced her anger that the cancer was not diagnosed earlier.

Katy Perry recently had an interview with People magazine where she spoke a little bit about planning her wedding to fiancé Russell Brand. The 25-year old pop singer said “Most people have breakdowns just over weddings. I’m planning mine AND my tour.” It’s a good thing that she hasn’t broken down yet. Katy is crazy enough as it is, can you imagine how crazy she can get if she does have a breakdown? And it must not be that hard to plan her wedding when she has pals like Rihanna to count on. As previously reported, the Barbadian R&B singer is planning Katy’s bachelorette party.
Actress Julianna Margulies has revealed that she has no plans to cheat on her husband – as she is only tempted by “chocolate and Martinis”.
The 44-year-old former ER star has been married to lawyer Keith Lieberthal for three years.
Margulies currently plays the part of a betrayed wife in the CBS TV show The Good Wife, but she said that she doesn’t think the same dramas will happen to her in real life.
She said to Redbook magazine: “I think that when you have got things out of your system, you are less tempted by distractions.
“My only temptations now are chocolate and Martinis.”
She added: “I think the hardest thing about cheating would not be the physical act; it would be the trust you break.”
