“MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! Just wanted to send my love to all of you for blessing me with a wonderful year! I hope that you are able to spend your holiday season with good company and people you love. One of my friends (Meghan) from college and I randomly decided to have a girls week and come to the Bahamas for Christmas. The weather has been a little disappointing since we’ve been here….there has been an overcast everyday and it rained all day yesterday! SaMan’s DJ fees have risen from $1,500 to as much as $25K per show according to the New York Daily News. They estimate her total income for 2008 to be approximately $3 million.

They allege that the pay hike is partly because club promoters know where Sam goes, Lindsay is usually with her. A source told them:

“Sam’s now asking for a lot more money to spin,” They went on to say:

“And she’s getting it easily.”

The club promoters must think she has tremendous skillz mixing beats otherwise she wouldn’t keep getting hired. Regardless of having Linds as her main squeeze now, she was making a living before hooking up with her.

Leona Lewis is pictured here getting handcuffed by a police officer on the set of her latest music video “I Will Be” . The pop rock ballad will be produced by Dr. Luke and was co-written by Avril Lavigne and Max Martin. It was filmed in Brooklyn on Friday.

This will be Leona’s third single off her debut album, Spirit.

Chace Crawford, one of the stars of Gossip Girl will make a cameo in the video. A source told People how the two of them met:

“Chace went to London a couple months ago for meetings and to promote Gossip Girl. He went to a party and ended up meeting Leona. [The two] hit it off and talk every once in a while and have become fast friends… A couple weeks ago Leona called Chace and asked if he would be in her next video. He obviously said yes.”

The song was originally recorded by Avril a couple of years ago and is included on the Limited Edition version of her third studio album, The Best Damn Thing.

Chris played the dutiful boyfriend role and waited around while she shopped to her heart’s content. He is wearing a necklace with a Stormtrooper pendant (the soldiers with white body armor from Star Wars.)

Skip to about the 0:35 mark in the video below to watch her beautiful butt cheeks hit the floor. If the diva that she is had taken off those heart-shaped sunglasses, she would have seen the damn water on the stage!

In other Madonna related news, she paid off her ex-husband Guy Ritchie 76 million to finalize their divorce. They still need to work out custody arrangements of their two sons, but have agreed to call a truce and celebrate Christmas together in England.

This little picture of Miley doing at first glance what looks like digging for gold was snapped by a paparazzi during a rehearsal for a Christmas special at Disney World. Miley was doing the sound and mic check yet once again, here is a picture that she will no doubt be upset about.

After a closer look, all she is doing is rubbing her nose with her knuckle!

One thing about Miley, unlike Britney, Lindsay, Ashlee or Hilary, she really does sing live. From everything I have read about her, she doesn’t do lip-synching or electronic manipulation (”sweetening”) of her voice in concert. The background vocals may be recorded, but she sings live.

People may negatively comment about her looks and conduct, but the girl has talent, and she shows it during her live performances!

Chris talked to Billboard about making guests spots on other albums:

“I did (a song titled “Human”) with Tim McGraw. It’s incredible. I wanted to do something more along the country line. That’s a bigger and different audience for me. I also did a song with the Japanese group called the Teriyaki Boys out of (producer/performer) Pharrell’s camp!”

He added:

“I actually have a couple of songs written already that would be dope collaborations between me and her [Rihanna]. And I’m writing for her new album now!”

He continued:

” [I] did a couple of songs for the Jonas Brothers, but I don’t know if they took any of them. And I did a couple of songs with the Backstreet Boys and the Pussycat Dolls. I’ve also been writing songs
for several new girl groups who are coming out.”

According to a news report, Mos Def’s attorneys are suing him for $60,000 after he did not pay for the legal work done on his expensive divorce from ex-wife Maria Yepes back in 2006.

That’s not the only legal trouble the actor/rapper needs to sort out. This past August, Mos is alleged to have assaulted a fashion photographer in Las Vegas. He was charged with felony robbery and malicious destruction of private property after Volker Corell says he ripped a camera from his neck, smashed it to the ground and then took off with it during a confrontation in Las Vegas in August (08).

Britney Spears got into the holiday spirit by Christmas caroling in Los Angeles on Friday with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. The show will air Tuesday December 16th.

Britney’s wearing a festive red crushed velvet hoop gown, tartan shawl and bonnet for the outing, while Ellen donned a mistletoe-topped bonnet and green crushed velvet outfit. Both gals wore white gloves to top off their vintage look.
