Snoop Dogg and 3D of Massive Attack have done a collaboration that is now available on 3D of Massive Attack’s website. The song they recorded is titled ‘Calling Mumia’ and it will be appearing on the soundtrack of the film documentary ‘In Prison My Whole Life.’ The film follows the life of political activist Mumia Abu-Jamal who was charged with killing a police officer and sent to a U.S. prison.

In 2001, Jamal’s death sentence was overturned due to inconsistencies that surfaced during his trial.

Dogg was granted a visa thanks to lobbying from the spin doctors at CPR, and he was in Flemington today as a guest of Lavazza. He also launched a sunglasses range by Arnette called Notorious at Revolver nightclub the other night which is a perfect venue given Dogg is on probation for gun offences.

Britney, her father Jamie and manager Larry Rudolph were at the Polo in the Palisades event at the Will Rogers Polo Club in LA this past Saturday afternoon.

They were cheering on a team of players wearing pink polo shirts with “Spears Family” written on the back. She was the guest of honor at a charity match. It was sponsored by the Promises Foundation - an LA-based charity which helps Miriam’s House, a home for recovering mothers and their children.

It looks as though Dawn is going to leave Danity Kane. I guess she feels she is just too good for the group and Diddy agrees. I feel as though a new reality series is in order. I bet all those girls can’t stand Dawn she seems a bit stuck up.

It is sad that most girl groups split up, while guy groups usually stay together. I guess it is harder to deal with Bitchy women!

Kelly Clarkson has shed some pounds (but not all of them)… she is looking way better than she did a year ago!

The original American Idol is actually working on her fourth album. After her last album disaster she has many collaborators including Sam Watters, Louis Biancaniello and Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic). I a surprised she didn’t get Timbaland… to help her out. I guess his fame is slowly fizzling. He has produced a lot of songs but only a slim few made it. (Nelly, JT, Onerepublic, Kerri Hilson)…

Shania Twain has been spending some much needed time in the Caribbean but has not forgot her fans. She posted a comment on her website: “I need some time to heal this broken heart but make no mistake; I will be back and hopefully stronger than ever”.

You take all the time you need girl! It must be hard as it seemed like she had a great marriage.. and that nothing could break it. Hopefully she will come back and rock the country and pop charts again!

Alicia Keys has taken over The Billboard 200 this week with her brand new album “As I Am”. It has debuted at No. 1 after selling 742,000 copies in the United States so far. Billboard has also revealed that this is the best sales in one week for a solo female artist since Norah Jones’ “Feels Like Home” who sold 1 million copies in 2004. I haven’t listened to any of Alicia’s new songs, and it was because I was put off by the cover and the first single No One… I am going to definitely check out this album now!

Looks like Britney had a little too much to drink, and started to break it down dancing in her own backyard. I wonder what she was dancing too, maybe one of her new tracks on her Blackout album.

I wonder why she is in such a good mood, you think she would be out on the town letting the paparazzi follow her around and tell her how beautiful she is.  I guess she figured they would be watching her backyard, and decided to give them a little show just for the hell of it.

Jay-Z has come out of retirement again to drop an album called  “American Gangsta”. Seriously what is up with guys going into ‘retirement’ and then coming back not even a year later!

Anyway, apparently one of the new songs include the lyrics “Beyonce the Fiance”. They have been together for quite a long time, and it would be nice if they finally got hitched. Beyonce is getting older and she probably wants to have a kid soon, because that is what all the Hollywood girls are doing now a days!

Apparently Britney’s demo tape has leaked and there are some great songs on it. I am really feeling the song Radar as well as Get Back. I a sure if you do some googling you will be able to find these tracts and give them a listen.

Britney’s life may be in turmoil but her songs are semi catchy. With some good marketing, and if she gets her life on tract, maybe she can still have a career. (Who am I kidding, Britney is toast!)

Britney Spears song Gimmie More has leaked and it is actually not too bad! I am surprisingly impressed. I am not sure how popular it will become, depends obviously on how she promotes it and how good the video is.

Another song has also leaked called Cold As Fire, and it is TERRIBLE! She sounds like a chipmunk, or some kind of children song but scarier.
