Dame Helen Mirren has admitted she only packs lingerie for her holidays and buys the rest when she gets there.

The 65-year-old veteran actress said she usually buys all of her travelling garments from a charity shop when she gets to her destination.

Speaking to British newspaper Daily Mail, she said: “I love a good charity shop, especially when I’m travelling. When I’m going to cold places, I take nothing – just underwear.

“On my way from the airport, I ask the driver to take me to a good charity shop, and I buy boots, socks, trousers, jumpers, sweaters, hats and scarves – usually for £30.”

Asked what happens when the trip ends, she said: “On my way back to the airport, I have it all in a big bag and drop it off at another charity shop.”

Kourtney Kardashian has admitted her boobs were a “little big” for a dress she wore to a recent meeting.

The 31-year-old reality star was seen out in LA with boyfriend Scott Disick, 26, and she admitted she was self-conscious about the amount skin she was showing.

She said on her blog: “Scott and I had a meeting in Beverly Hills today and stopped for lunch at Yu + Mi Sushi afterward. It’s one of our favourite sushi places!!”

She added: “My boobs may be a little big for my dress since I’m breast feeding. I was a little self-conscious once out and about in it. I hate it when you run out of the house in a rush and then don’t feel comfortable.

“I do love the dress, just a little too much cleave for my new mamma self lol.”

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker is countersuing her former restaurant partners.

The 35-year-old actress was recently sued by two of her ex-partners at her Beso Las Vegas restaurant.

Her rep Liza Anderson confirmed to RadarOnline.com: “All allegations against Longoria Parker and the restaurant are absolutely false, untrue, and without merit.

“Longoria Parker plans to countersue the couple in a court of law in order to protect the integrity of the restaurant, its brand, and the welfare and well-being of her employees, as well as her own reputation.”

The actress was recently sued by former partners Ronen and Mali Nachim.

The pair had been brought in to manage the restaurant and had a small equity investment in the Las Vegas branch.

They recently filed a breach-of-contract suit against the actress following concerns from Longoria Parker and other partners about their management style.

An iconic black gown worn by the late Princess Diana has sold for almost £200,000 at auction, according to reports.

The taffeta Emanuel creation, which she wore when she was 19 years old for her first official appearance with Prince Charles, fetched a staggering £192,000 when it went under the hammer in London earlier today.

Initial estimates had reportedly predicted that it would sell for between £30,000 and £50,000.

Auctioneer Kerry Taylor explained that the princess had taken the outfit back to Emanuel to have it taken in after she dramatically lost weight in the run-up to her wedding.

“Diana lost so much weight that she returned the gown to Emanuel to have it taken in,” she said.

“The alterations required were so drastic that they decided it would be easier to re-make a smaller version for her.

“They kept the original and forgot about it – only re-discovering it quite recently.”

The gown, bought by Fundación Museo De La Moda – a fashion museum in Chile – was one of 30 items being sold by designers Elizabeth and David Emanuel.

The chiffon blouse Diana wore to a Vogue photo-shoot to celebrate the announcement of her engagement was reportedly bought by Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons, in Ireland, for £26,400.

The Irish museum also spent £20,400 on the final calico toile for Diana’s wedding gown.

Comedian Tina Fey said she tries to schedule in ‘us time’ with her husband despite having busy working lives.

Fey, 39, who is starring in new movie Date Night with Steve Carell, has been married to husband Jeff Richmond for nine years and they have a four-year-old daughter Alice.

She told UK’s The Times Magazine: “My husband and I have been married for nine years. We both work a lot and try to spend every free moment we have with our daughter.

“We make an effort to schedule in some ‘us’ time. When you’re both tired it can feel a little like going to the gym, though. ‘We’ll be so glad we did this… afterwards’!”

Mad Men star Christina Hendricks has said men who stare at women’s breasts are “infantile”.

The 34-year-old, best known for her role as Joan Holloway in the hit US drama, had some tips for men in the new edition of Esquire magazine.

She said: “If we’re in love with you, we love your body – your pot belly, everything. Even if you’re insecure about something, we love your body. You feel like you’re not this or that? We love your body. We embrace everything because it’s you.”

However, Hendricks added that she isn’t impressed when men stare at her chest.

She added: “The men who look, they really look. It doesn’t insult us. It doesn’t faze us, really. It’s just, well, it’s a little infantile. Which is ironic, isn’t it? The men who constantly stare at our breasts are never the men we’re attracted to.”

New mum Padma Lakshmi is already fighting with the father of her baby daughter over visitation rights, according to U.S. reports.

Venture capitalist Adam Dell is reportedly a proud father who is desperate to play as big a part in his daughter Krishna’s life as possible.

But he is already said to be complaining about how Top Chef star Padma is refusing to work with him to meet his requests, according to Page Six.

Dell – whose brother Michael is the founder of the Dell computer company – is said to have photographs of his baby girl proudly displayed all over his house in Austin, Texas.

And a guest at a barbecue he recently threw recalled hearing his complaints about how Salman Rushdie’s ex was not accommodating his desires as a dad.

The source said Dell was telling everyone “how excited he was to raise her, but that Padma wasn’t being entirely accommodating”.

However, those on Padma’s side insist he is being unfair to the former model.

“An agreement was made with the biological father that was very fair,” a source close to Padma told the gossip column. “It’s unfortunate if anything inappropriate is being said.”

Padma’s spokesperson could not be reached and Dell’s spokesman, Howard Rubenstein, had no comment.

Cheryl Cole’s divorce from Ashley Cole could be swift and painless, observers say.

The UK Mirror claimed the Geordie pop star could be permanently free of football star Ashley in time for the World Cup in June.

A top family lawyer, Julian Hawkhead, said: “The impression is they are both keen to get on with it. They are both commercially minded people with strong commercial people in the background advising them.”

Cole has so far confirmed a separation of her three-and-a-half year marriage only, however, in the wake of a sex-texting scandal involving Ashley.

The newspaper reported Hawkhead said a potential divorce would be “relatively painless”.

“A case where it’s young people and no children and both with lots of money, it should be an easy divorce,” he said.

The partner at Stowe Family Law, in North Yorkshire, said the pair may have begun negotiating a settlement in private and could divorce within three to four months.

He said the Coles’ assets, including their £6million ($9.3million) Surrey mansion, could be divided. “I think Ashley probably earns a bit more than Cheryl so she might want a share of his earnings but she has good earnings in her own right. I think she’ll just want to get on with her life.”

Kris Jenner has spoken about her daughter Kourtney’s babydaddy Scott and said she just wants someone who is ‘dedicated’ to her and grandson Mason.

Jenner was talking after the season finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where viewers saw Kourtney give birth to her son Mason in December.

Jenner has made no secret of her feelings for Mason’s dad Scott and said: “I want someone who’s dedicated to Kourtney and the baby, who has something to get up for every day – not just get up and go and get a tan in the backyard.”

She added: “It’s not just success monetarily. It’s finding something you love to do.

“I’m as hard on [her son] Rob as I am on Scott. I set the bar really high and expect a lot out of my kids.”

Jenner also said: “When you date one of my kids, you date all of us.”
