Ari Gold says that he was told to move to the back of a Short Line bus in New York after the bus driver said he was uncomfortable at the sight of his and another man holding hands. The singer said “The driver told us if we wanted to continue sitting together, we had to sit in the back.” The driver even had the nerve to call a state trooper which prompted Ari to announce to other passengers what was going on. The state trooper, naturally, saw nothing wrong. Ari plans on filing charges and posted an update to his Facebook page, saying “Haven’t reached anyone from Shortline yet-I’ll call Lamda Legal to see if there’s any action to take or at least make sure Shortline gives better employee training. I stood up to the driver despite my racing heart, I can only imagine what that might have done to someone who couldn’t.” Bravo to Ari for standing up for himself!

The singer has recently taken to her official website in order to reassure her fans that she is doing just fine and that there is no need for them to actually worry about her. This is what Cheryl Cole posted on the matter: ”I have had the weirdest past few weeks (nothing unusual there though.) I wouldn’t even know how to begin to tell you all about it. I have had the time that I have not had in so long to just chill with my loved ones and do the normal things that I like to do. See my friends and family and be with my doggys. It feels long overdue and sooooo good, even my feet are happy to not have to wear a pair of high heels hehe. It also breaks my heart a little when i hear that some of you worry about me and need to know that I am ok, so I want to PROMISE you that I am absolutely fine and more than OK!” Cheryl Cole must be very, very lucky to have such adoring fans. This is probably why she turned down the X Factor job… who needs Simon Cowell and his intrigues?

Actress Kim Cattrall admits she was ‘upset’ by a scene in her new film Meet Monica Velour when men had to insult her while she was dancing on stage. The Sex and the City star plays an older porn star turned pole dancer in the flick – but she says she couldn’t help but feel sad about the verbal bashing that her character endured. Kim told Scottish newspaper the Edinburgh Evening News: “It was exhilarating really, at the beginning, but then it got tricky. The insults from the audience came about five or six times, since we had to get different angles. “After I got offstage and went back to the dressing room, those catcalls, like, ‘Do you have Depends [incontinence-relief underwear] on under there?’ started affecting me. I was upset. “If you go online, you don’t read that sort of age rage. Even still, it’s one thing to read it and quite another thing to hear it. That was really raw for me.” Despite this, the 54-year-old insisted that getting involved in the nature of Velour was something she had to do. She added: “They gave me bottled beer and I was, like, ‘No, too expensive. Give me canned no-name beer. That’s what Monica drinks.’ “Then I got on set and the guy gives me a lighter. I said, ‘This lighter looks like it cost 40 bucks. I need a Bic. A pink Bic lighter that you get at the grocery store.’”

Courteney Cox has revealed that the renovation of her new Malibu retreat was ‘intense’. The 46-year-old actress was studying to become an architect before pursuing a Hollywood career. She said that she wanted to be as hands-on as possible and so held three-hour planning sessions with architect Michael Kovac and interior designer Trip Haenisch to help create a ‘modern barn’ look. “I’ve been overseeing renovations of my homes for a long time, and I have strong opinions about what I want and why,” she told Elle Decor. And Kovac agreed, explaining how the former Friends actress rejected the possible stock colours for the tennis court and insisted on finding just the right hue. “Courteney [asked for] a sample of the pigments of every colour they had, along with some paintbrushes and paper plates, and everyone on the building team worked on mixing the pigments into new combinations. She had to get it exactly right,” he said. The two-acre estate perches on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and boasts a tennis house, a screening room, a saltwater swimming pool and guest cottages amongst other luxury features. She also revealed that she picked the hilltop location for privacy as her previous home was level with a public beach. “I couldn’t take a walk without having my picture taken,” she complained.
