Dancing With The Stars host Brooke Burke has admitted reports she is pregnant again were just an April Fool’s joke.
The 38-year-old star was rumoured to be pregnant with her fifth child after a report surfaced on her website ModernMom.com.
The rumour then started spreading – but Burke admitted that it was just an April Fool’s Day joke.
She wrote on Twitter: “April Fools Tweetie pies!!!!! But seriously!!!!! I am not preggers…. where is your sense of humour?!? I will not be Dancing With baby #5. IOL Got you!!!! April Fools!!!”
Burke added: “the joke was over when my MOM called me at my office to ask if I am Pregnant! The answer is a big Fat NO!… just because I have 4 kids, and I’m crazed…doesn’t mean I don’t have a sense of humor!!!”
Octomom Nadya Suleman has refused to rule out having another child.
The Californian spoke about already having 14 kids when she appeared on The View TV show.
Suleman attracted attention last year when she gave birth to octuplets, just the second set born alive in the US.
Asked on the show if she was ‘done having children’, Suleman initially replied: “Yes, oh yes, yes, yes, absolutely.”
But when pressed she appeared to leave the door open for a further pregnancy.
“But maybe some day in the future when my children are older and if I meet somebody, I am not going to say 100 per cent, no I am not going to get married and want to have a child.”
Model Claudia Schiffer showed off her growing baby bump as she did the school run.
The 39-year-old recently announced that she is five-and-a-half-months pregnant with her third child and gave a glimpse of her baby bump while taking her children to school in London.
Schiffer and husband Matthew Vaughn have two children already – Caspar, six, and Clementine, five.
Talking about the pregnancy, the couple recently said in a statement: “We are delighted with the news and can’t wait to add to our family.”
Accidentally On Purpose star Jenna Elfman has revealed that she has been “stuffing” herself with food during her second pregnancy.
The 37-year-old actress, who has a two-year-old son Story, is currently expecting her second child with hubby Bodhi Elfman.
She said: “You know, the main cravings are done with. Now it’s just eating in general. I like stuffing food down my face.”
However, the Love Hurts star, who is due to give birth in March, said she is still trying to keep in shape.
She said: “I try to just get on the treadmill three times a week and lift some free weights.”
Talking about son Story’s reaction to the pregnancy, she said: “He’s wonderful. He gives the baby hugs and kisses and he says ‘Out!’ like he wants the baby to come.”
Rumours have been circulating that the 30-year-old, who is currently dating New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, is pregnant, but this rumour has been found to be untrue.
British newspaper The Sun reported on the How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days star’s supposed pregnancy, stating: “Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez have been eying up new pads – and it looks like they may need a nursery.”
The Bride Wars star was supposedly showing the first signs of a baby bump.
GossipCop.com have now reported that the story is false.
A spokesperson for Kate said: “She is not pregnant.”
Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo has been thrown a baby shower by co-star Katherine Heigl.
Mum-to-be Pompeo, who is expecting her baby in October, was also joined by other members of the show’s cast, including Kate Walsh and Sandra Oh as well as castmate Eric Dane’s wife Rebecca Gayheart.
The bash was held at Heigl’s in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles.
The catered, outdoor baby shower was held in the backyard and umbrellas shielded guests from the heat as temperatures in Los Angeles reached a scorching 105 degrees.
Pink flower arrangements and candles adorned the tables to celebrate Pompeo expecting a baby girl, while guests brought gifts wrapped in girly pink and yellow colours.
Many of the gifts – which included a Sleep Sheep toy mobile, Sleepy Safari stacking toys, organic hooded towels and a Kiddopotamus organic swaddle wrap – came from the Juvenile Shop in nearby Sherman Oaks, where Pompeo is registered.
A guest at the shower said: “Ellen looked gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do.
“She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends.”
Pete Wentz revealed in an interview he did with Playboy magazine that he and Ashlee are fairly certain they are having a baby boy (not twins as has been the rumour) this fall:
“We know with 90 percent accuracy that it’s a boy and our due date is around Thanksgiving. We don’t have any names yet. My friend Andrew said, ‘Your kid has to have a name that would fit either a rock star or a senator.’”
He also told of his struggle with depression:
“As a kid I always went to therapists; the first time was when my parents were separated on my sixth birthday, then on and off since then. I was diagnosed with ADD.”
Pete also discussed his overdose with his anxiety medication back in February 2005:
“It had more to do with being depressed. I wasn’t thinking of killing myself. I’ve never really called it a suicide attempt. I just wanted my head to be completely turned off. I took a handful of Ativan.”
Pete even talked about his famous sister-in-law, Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend, professional football player Tony Romo:
“I like Tony a lot. He’s a rad dude, and we’re both into Guns n’ Roses. Magazines always like to use pictures of us together: ‘Tony wears Nikes, but Pete’s checking out Balenciaga bags.”
He seems to be very happy, in love, and eagerly waiting the arrival of their new baby. Hopefully the stress of becoming a new father won’t be too much for him and their new marriage. I always wonder why newlyweds get pregnant so soon. Marriage is such a big step why not take some time to really get to know each other and see what it’s like living together before adding a new baby? Oh well… guess they’ll be finding out soon enough… hopefully they are both banking up on their sleep before the baby arrives!
Victoria Beckham supposedly wants to have another baby, but her doctors have advised her that she cannot have another C-section (it would be her 4th) or she will cause damage to her body.
The Herald Sun reports:
The former Spice Girl – who has three sons, 9-year-old Brooklyn, 5-year-old Romeo, and 3-year-old Cruz with husband David Beckham – is determined to have a little girl, but has been told she could damage her body if she has a fourth caesarean. “She wanted to try for a baby after the Spice Girls finished touring,” a source said. “But she’s put her plans on hold while she sees what can be done to help her. She knows she is putting her health at risk if she dismisses the advice of her doctors and has another C-section.” Doctors are concerned the 34-year-old could need an emergency hysterectomy if the op goes wrong.”
I remember reading that she had to have an emergency C-section with her first son, and it is dangerous to deliver vaginally after having one C-section … and that’s if you had one, if you had 3 previous c-sections, I think it would be out of the question!
