Sandra Bullock ‘preparing step-daughter for new mummy’

Sandra Bullock is reportedly bracing herself to help her step-daughter get ready for a new mother in her life. Bullock cared for ex-husband Jesse James’ six-year-old girl Sunny when the little girl’s mother, former porn star Janine Lindemulder was jailed for tax evasion. But with James set to marry new girlfriend Kat Von D as early as next month, she is said to be getting ready to help Sunny accept a third mother-figure. A source told PopEater, “Sandra loves Sunny with all her heart and will always be in her life. However, she also knows that Sunny will have a new mummy soon and will do whatever she needs to do to make sure Jesse’s new wife and her have a great relationship even if that means taking a step away. “Sandra thought Jesse would never be able to hurt her again, but she was wrong. When Jesse was in rehab it was Sandy who was a mother to his little girl. Despite what Jesse did, Sandra never walked away from Sunny. “She has given that sweet child nothing but love. As difficult as this will be, once again Sandra will prove what a lady she is.”

Sarah Jessica Parker: ‘I could die thinking about being away from the kids’

Sarah Jessica Parker has said that she can’t stand the idea of being apart from her children. The Sex And The City actress is set to start working on new film I Don’t Know How She Does It. She said that she ‘could die’ thinking about how it will force her to spend time away from eight-year-old son James Wilkie, and 17-month-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha. The 45-year-old, who is married to Matthew Broderick, told Elle magazine, “Even now I think about the separation and it makes my stomach hurt. I think about my son waking up on his birthday without me there, and I could die.” The couple used a surrogate mother to have the twins, and she admitted she was taken aback the first time she saw them. “Everything was suspended,” she said. “I can’t even tell you what other sounds were in the room. I loved them immediately. “They looked surprisingly different from James Wilkie, which I wasn’t expecting.”

Alicia Keys is very happy because of motherhood

It seems that the singer who just recently gave birth to her first child, a boy by the name of Egypt Daoud Dean, is thrilled about becoming a mother… even more thrilled than her husband Swizz Beats. This is what Alicia Keys tweeted on the matter: “There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to express a FEELING like this!!!” She seems terribly excited… it will all pass soon enough and then Alicia Keys can enjoy the true bliss of motherhood: frustration, lack of sleep, lack of peace and so forth. Now that’s something to look forward too!

Sheryl Crow adopts yet again

The singer’s family just got bigger. Sheryl Crow apparently wrote on her website recently that she has adopted a new son named Levi James. This is what she wrote on the matter: Hey Everybody! I have some exciting news to share with you guys-Wyatt has a new little brother! Levi James was born April 30th. Just wanted you all to be the first to hear the good news!” Hopefully this is just an act of good will on behalf of Sheryl Crow because if she wants to make some competition for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie she’s got a long way to go still.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I had post-natal depression

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she suffered from post-partum depression after the birth of her son Moses in 2006.

“It was debilitating,” Paltrow said. “I just couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me and why I was so down and disconnected and sort of outside my body,” the Oscar-winning actress admitted in an interview with Extra.

It was Paltrow’s husband, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, who helped her acknowledge what she was going through.

“My husband actually was like, ‘You’re not OK. What’s going on?’ – and then it was like a burst of a bubble, and I realised there was something wrong. Then I started to deal with it.”

The couple have an older child, a daughter named Apple.

Brooke Shields: ‘My three-year-old daughter loves to wear my shoes’

Actress Brooke Shields has said her three-year-old daughter loves to dress up in her shoes.

The 44-year-old star has two young daughters – Rowan, six, and Grier, three – with husband Chris Henchy.

She recently attended Choo 24:7 by Jimmy Choo Launch at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and talked about her daughter’s fondness for the pair of heels she was wearing.

She said to In Touch: “My little one was wearing these all night. I had to pry them off her feet to get them on mine!”

Talking about her younger daughter, she added: “My younger one wants anything sparkly, and my other one is a self-proclaimed ‘hip-hop girl’.”

Mariah Carey’s high expectations of Nick Cannon

She seems very confident that he shall live up to them, though. Mariah Carey has recently declared that she believes her husband Nick Cannon will make an excellent father. This is what the singer said on the matter: “He’d be the best dad in the whole world!” This really doesn’t work like everything else might have so far for Mariah Carey. She just can’t say that Nick Cannon is going to be a great dad and spoof he turns into one. There might be a tad of a disappointment on the horizon for Mariah Carey if she really has these expectations.

Actress Susan Sarandon says she’s a constant embarrassment to her children

The Lovely Bones star Susan Sarandon said she ‘constantly’ embarrasses her children.

The 63-year-old plays the role of Grandma Lynn in Peter Jackson’s new movie.

Sarandon is married to actor Tim Robbins, 51, and they have two sons Jack Henry, 20, and Miles, 17. She also has a 24-year-old daughter, Eva, from a previous relationship.

Asked if she and hubby Tim embarrass their kids, she told UK magazine Psychologies: “Constantly. I’ve given up being defensive about it. If you’re breathing, you’re an embarrassment.

“I haven’t done any naked scenes [for a long time]. They’ll point out something I did earlier and ask, ‘Did it never occur to you that you might have a child?’

“I say, ‘No, it didn’t’. But I accept them, they have to learn to accept me.”

Police chief offered ultrasound images of actress’s twins

SPL96698_016

An Ohio police chief told a photographer he had access to ultrasound images that belonged to the surrogate mother carrying twins for Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker, a court was told.

The photographer, Justin Steffman of New York, testified that Martins Ferry Chief Barry Carpenter also claimed he had access to a plaster cast of the woman’s stomach, a contract she signed with Parker and other documents.

Michelle Ross, the surrogate mother, has since given birth to twin girls for Parker and Matthew Broderick after her home was broken into and her phone and computer hacked. Carpenter and police chief Chad Dojack from Bridgeport are accused of plotting to sell items they retrieved from Ross’s home during the May break-in.

Steffman, a paparazzo, said Dojack offered to sell him the surrogate’s address and contact information for $1000. He said Carpenter showed him a cell phone photo of the plaster cast in a private meeting at a post office parking lot.

Steffman said he found Ross through her MySpace page and informed her of conversations he had with the police chiefs. The pair are on suspension and facing a number of charges, including felonies.
