Mel C: ‘Rihanna is inappropriately sexual’
Mel C has blasted Rihanna for being ‘inappropriately sexual’ in front of her young fans. The 37-year-old former Spice Girl and mother-of-one said that although she is a huge fan of the star, she worries about the message that her outfits send out to children. She told The Mirror, “People have to take some responsibility because we’ve got to a point where over-sexualisation of young children has gone too far. “I think music is a big part of that. Women in music, very successful women, are extremely sexual and they have young fans. It is inappropriate. “Rihanna has responsibility and although culture’s always changing, it’s changed too much. It needs to be dealt with. It’s reached saturation point. We owe it to our kids to protect them. “Rihanna’s free to do as she pleases, of course, but I think her take on the criticism she’s had is interesting. “I love Rihanna, I think she’s a f****** brilliant artist, with great songs, a great record and she looks fantastic… but she’s not a mum. Maybe if she becomes one she’ll feel different. I hope so anyway.”

Celebrities such as Emma Bunton and Piers Morgan took to their Twitter pages to give their reaction to the royal wedding. Prince William and Kate Middleton married in front of two billion viewers around the world and the showbiz world was watching too. Celebs wrote messages to their Twitter fans discussing the royal event and giving their take on the ceremony, the dress and THAT kiss. Singer Justin Bieber wrote: “congrats to William and Kate and Kate’s sister.” Footballer Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen added: “Congratulations Kate and William. May you have a very happy life together.” CNN host and TV presenter Piers Morgan gave his take on the wedding dress and other gowns. He said: “My Best Dress vote: 1) Kate 2) Victoria Beckham 3) Pippa.” Victoria Beckham’s former Spice Girls star pal Emma Bunton also congratulated the couple. She wrote: “Absolutely beautiful couple!!! They look exquisite!” Singer Estelle seemed impressed with the overall wardrobe choices and wrote: “Top hats and fascinators, This wedding was gorgeous. Just. Gorgeous. Ok I’m leaning off Twitter for a bit, Enjoy the glorious day.” TV presenter and Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden added: “Kate looked every inch a Princess! Beautifully simple and elegant! And handsome William her Prince Charming! What a dream!!” Another Spice Girl, Mel B, wrote a message too. She said: “What a great wedding,wishing them all the best,soo happy for them!!” TV presenter Myleene Klass added: “The kiss Awww. The flyover.. nearly lost a finger trying to swing the patio door open to catch it!”

Mel B is Pregnant
Earlier this month, it was reported that Victoria Beckham is pregnant with her first daughter. Back in November, Emma Bunton was reported to be pregnant with her second child. Now, it’s Mel B who has some pregnancy news to share. The former Spice Girls member said “We’re really thrilled. We wouldn’t have planned and waited for four years to have a baby if we weren’t excited and ready for it. We’re really happily married, and we’re both very much in love.” Congratulations! It sounds like there will be some serious play dates in the works for the new Spic Girls babies.
Melanie B wants yet another Spice Girls get together
It seems that the former Spice Girl has seen the benefits that can be wrought from reunions, especially given the excellent example set by Take That, so she has recently expressed her desire for another some such event for her former band. This is what Melanie B said about the idea of a Spice Girls reunion: “I’d love to get back with the Spice Girls. I’ve always championed more Spice Girls concerts, DVDs and music. But we haven’t had that conversation as a group yet and I can’t speak on everyone’s behalf.” Well, if Melanie B were to point out what came of Take That getting back together with Robbie Williams she would probably be convincing enough to make her little wish come true.
Melanie B is not very proud of herself
It seems that the former Spice Girl doesn’t really like the way things are with regards to her family given that she has two daughters by two different fathers. This is what Melanie B said on the matter: “I’ve got two beautiful daughters by two different fathers – I’m not very proud of that but it is what it is so I have to act accordingly – I’m all about peace and harmony.” Well, it’s good that Melanie B is so into peace and harmony but if she keeps stuff like that bottled up for too much time, it might end up bursting out uncontrollably… and that might not be such a pretty sight.
Melanie B has marriage counseling
It seems that the former Spice Girl and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, see a marriage counselor. This has been going on for four years now and consider that the two have been married only since 2007. This is what Melanie B related on the matter: “Stephen and I have been seeing a family therapist – normally once a week. It’s nice to show your vulnerability sometimes. I work through my frustrations by talking. I talk a lot. I’ve always been very open – maybe that’s why I got the name Scary Spice.” That’s probably one way of going about it to make sure that you don’t screw it up. Melanie B and Stephen Belafonte seem to have done a pretty good job thus far, but who knows how much longer they’ll be able to keep it up.
New Spice Girls Movie
Emma Bunton recently revealed that a new Spice Girls movie is coming out way. The film will be formatted similar to the hit ‘Mamma Mia!’ using the band’s songs as a soundtrack and is set to hit the silver screens in 2011. It will be produced by the same team who the group of singers signed with for the West End musical ‘Viva Forever’. Do people really believe that they’re still as relevant now as they were back then to merit another movie? What will this one be about? They can’t even get the girls to reunite to talk about making new music or going out on tour again. I doubt they can do so for a movie.
Kim Kardashian was a huge fan of Victoria Beckham in the Spice Girls
Reality star Kim Kardashian said she was a huge fan of Victoria Beckham – but in her Posh Spice days in the British girl band.
The 29-year-old star recently ditched her make-up for a new photo shoot and admitted that she tried to copy Beckham’s look when she was still a member of the Spice Girls.
Asked if she ever copied another star’s style, she said to Life & Style: “Yes, Victoria Beckham. I loved Posh Spice when I was in high school.”
She added: “Makeup is fun, but it’s just another accessory. I’m happy with myself, and this is who I am.
“As much as it’s fun to glam up, the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin – with or without makeup.”

Melanie C shifts to theatre
The former Spice Girl is apparently switching careers and now has a part in the London West End show, “Blood Brothers”. It seems that Melanie C finds this new job of hers very challenging… and of course she’s decided, like any ex-singer who can’t get any attention lately, to share her thoughts with the rest of the population: “Doing ‘Blood Brothers’ is my biggest challenge. I’ve never had a serious acting role before, so I’m daunted. But I’m in good hands – and coming from Liverpool, I feel very comfortable with Willy Russell’s script.” So Melanie C is worried, but she’s actually ok and not worried. Wow… how much
Mel B loves pal Victoria Beckham’s designs

<p>During her trip to the UK, the singer drew in the crowds when she emerged from a giant cake to mark the 10th birthday of lingerie company Ultimo.
