The gals from the popular band who recently underwent some line-up changes and the recurring conflicts that resulted from them are now reborn to a higher state. This is what Heidi Range said about the new and improved Sugababes: “We’ve been rehearsing loads and are enjoying it at last. We feel like a new band learning the songs again. I wish we could discuss what we are doing musically more but obviously there’s been so much else to talk about recently and we have to give answers.” Well, Keisha Buchanan is probably going to be bouncing off the walls when she reads this… hopefully she won’t intimidate Jade Ewen anymore and the Sugababes can get on with being a band.
It seems the Sugababes singer spent a bit of time in an Austrian clinic recently after the latest changes in the band. Amelle Berrabah came back and reported her time there was a success and it really helped her get through these troubling times: “I’m really good. I’m happy happy! Haha! I heard I went to some depression clinic. It wasn’t a clinic. It’s a place in Austria where you cleanse your mind, body and spirit. You can walk around in your dressing gown day and night, you don’t have to wear make-up, no one’s judging you. I spoke to a life coach and sorted myself out a little bit.” The way Amelle Berrabah describes it leads one to think that the place in question is a brainwashing facility. But hey, whatever works for some people, eh? Reality can really be a bitch sometimes…
The newly former Sugababes singer who is set to launch her solo career will be teaming up with producer Taio Cruz who said the following about this new collaboration: “I would absolutely work with Keisha if she wanted me to. She can be sure that I will help her out. But Sugababes will be fine, they are a very strongly branded band and they have the same management so they will be fine. Keisha wanted to do her own stuff and now they have Jade.” One must bear in mind that Taio Cruz has also worked with Sugababes in the past… so basically, the man is just expanding his market with Keisha Buchanan. I wonder if this is what the visionaries of market economy had in mind when they came forward with their mad ideas.
