Susan Boyle’s life will become a musical
The Scottish singer who rose to fame after almost winning Simon Cowell’s “Britain’s Got Talent” two years back is apparently going to get yet another boost of fame as her life will be turned into a musical in the coming future. The piece will bear the already iconic name “I Dreamed a Dream” and Susan Boyle will be portrayed by Elaine C. Smith. Speaking about the project, this is what the singer had to say: ”I am happy that the musical is being produced, I never thought my life story would end up on the stage but a lot has happened in two years and it is a very exciting prospect. I hope everyone enjoys the show and I promise there will be a few surprises along the way.” Well it seems that Susan Boyle has had little to no problems getting into the swing of things and already she’s making promises to her fans.
Glenn Close not playing Susan Boyle in biopic
Actress Glenn Close will not star as Susan Boyle in a film version of the singer’s life. Speculation about a movie based on Susan’s rise to fame and who will play her has been rife for a while now – and recent reports linked Glenn, 63, to the role. But a representative for Glenn has denied these reports. The spokesman told BroadwayWorld.com: “This was a complete rumour from a tabloid paper in the UK. It is not remotely true.” Boyle, 49, became an overnight success in 2009 after her performance of I Dreamed A Dream on Britain’s Got Talent.

Glenn Close to play Susan Boyle in biopic?
Hollywood actress Glenn Close is reportedly set to play Susan Boyle in a biopic of her life. The 63-year-old star is believed to have agreed to take on the role for a new blockbuster about how the Scottish singer shot to fame after auditioning for TV show Britain’s Got Talent. A source told UK newspaper The Sun: “The film is full steam ahead now the leading role is sorted. It was always going to be a tricky one to cast. “Subo’s incredible story is so well-known across the planet that the film is bound to go down a storm. “Glenn has played some imposing women in the past, including Cruella de Vil and Alex Forrest, who boils the pet rabbit in Fatal Attraction. But Subo might just be her biggest role yet.”

Susan Boyle is having a house-warming party
Just one more big bash before hitting the coal mines again, eh? It seems that Susan Boyle will be having a little get-together of friends, family and Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan at her home in Scotland. This is what a source had to say of Susan Boyle’s plans: “We’ve heard Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan have been invited, and Susan’s very keen to see Piers again.” But she’s not so keen on seeing Simon Cowell again? Well, who would be… after all, Susan Boyle is probably going to be seeing a lot of the Earl of Exigency what with a new album coming out and whatnot.
Susan Boyle Talks Finding Peace
Susan Boyle recently had an interview where the British singer talked about where she finds some peace. The YouTube sensation said “The studio is my sanctuary. To return to it, well it feels like home away from home. The studio is like being inside a bubble and a place I can step away from the worry of life. As soon as I put the cans (headphones) on I know that I am safe. It’s a bit breathtaking, you know. For me, it’s not about album sales or chart positions. It is that the people buying my music are enjoying it. They are the ones who will hopefully keep me in this business for years to come. I don’t want it to end and I want them to keep enjoying my music.”
Susan Boyle Wants to Collaborate with Rihanna
Susan Boyle has declared that one of her dream duets would be with Rihanna. The Barbadian R&B singer might want to consider that offer considering that the YouTube sensation killed her in the album charts recently. Anyway, when Susan was asked about taking her music in another direction, she said “There are certain types of music that you’re good at and certain types that you’re not. I mean, would I be good at R&B? I suppose you never know. Maybe me and Rihanna could get together.” With the right song and the right producer, I definitely think they could work something out.
New Susan Boyle Album
Susan Boyle’s much-anticipated second album ‘The Gift’ is slated to hit stores on November 9th. The track list includes a mix of holiday songs as well as pop covers, including the now notorious Lou Reed track ‘Perfect Day’. The singer said “When making this album, I really wanted the songs to touch hearts. Music has always been a companion to me, particularly on special occasions. I wanted there to be a mix of songs that would flow with all our moods this holiday season. As much as the season is a time for reflection, it is also a time for fun and enjoyment with those closest to us.”
Susan Boyle is happy with how she looks
All except her teeth, which the singer is intent on doing something about. But as for the rest, Susan Boyle has no intentions of changing anything as she herself admits: “I would like to have my teeth done. But that would be it. I don’t want to change too much of myself. I won’t be looking like Barbie any time soon.” That’s very good for Susan Boyle, especially considering there are already so many barbies around anyway. She should get herself a new pair of fangs and reduce their number from time to time, keep the population in line and all that.
Susan Boyle is an Author
Susan Boyle is reportedly making plans to release an autobiography this year in hopes to inspire others. The Britain’s Got Talent singer and YouTube sensation said “I’m writing this book to try to show that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and I hope it will benefit other people. My story demonstrates that you shouldn’t just look at the label, you should look at the whole person, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually, and I hope that telling it will show that dreams are not impossible, if you’ve got courage and a willingness to go on no matter what the circumstances.” The book, ‘The Woman I Was Born to Be’, will hit shelves this fall.
Susan Boyle’s home intruder
As if the pressure of celebrity status was not enough, now Susan Boyle has to go through the ordeal of finding intruders in her home. Upon returning to Scotland, it seems the singer actually stumbled upon someone who had entered her home uninvited. This is what a friend of Susan Boyle’s related on the matter: “Susan got home to find an intruder halfway up her stairs. She was with another female, who was dropping her off, and only expected to be with her for a couple of minutes – but it is just as well she was. Susan is unharmed but is obviously very, very shocked. The guy has seen her come in and bolted out straight past Susan.” Probably one of Susan Boyle’s more fervent admirers, she might actually have to get used to more and more of those from now on.
