Tiger Woods’ estranged wife is set to pocket a staggering $750 million in a divorce settlement that is about to become official, according to US reports.
Elin Nordegren will bag the massive sum but the mother of Tiger’s two children will be banned from signing book deals or giving interviews about the breakdown of their five-year marriage.
Lawyers for the pair, whose marriage was shattered by Woods’ adulterous behaviour, are making last-minute adjustments to the agreement before each party signs on the dotted line.
“They’ve agreed on all the major points,” a source told Radaronline.com. “It’s all been worked out privately. Both Tiger and Elin are now very close to finishing the negotiations and filing and signing all the paperwork.”
It is not known how the estranged couple’s many assets will be divided up – or what custody arrangements will be put in place for their children, three-year-old Sam and Charlie, 18 months.
However, it is understood that Elin, a swimwear model, is seeking full custody of the toddlers.
“When they first started negotiating the divorce, it was all very acrimonious,” the source added.
“Elin had a lawyer in California, who was very, very aggressive.”
Tensions reportedly calmed down after blonde Elin switched attorneys, according to the website.
“Things are now very civil between Tiger and Elin – at least in terms of getting the divorce taken care of,” added the source.
