Speaking to PEOPLE, she said: “In an effort to capitalise on my recent breakup, the network has decided to focus their energy on re-editing events that didn’t happen while filming. “I have no regrets and am very proud of the original footage. Comedienne Tina Fey has blasted her 30 Rock co-star Tracy Morgan for his “disturbing” homophobic rant during a recent stand-up comedy show. Morgan has come under fire for his comments during his performance at a comedy show in Nashville, Tennessee, in which he told the crowd that he would kill his son if he ever came out as gay. “The violent imagery of Tracy’s rant was disturbing to me at a time when homophobic hate crimes continue to be a life-threatening issue for the GLBT [gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender] community,” Fey said in a statement last night. “It also does not line up with the Tracy Morgan I know, who is not a hateful man and is generally much too sleepy and self-centred to ever hurt another person. “I hope for his sake that Tracy’s apology will be accepted as sincere by his gay and lesbian co-workers at 30 Rock, without whom Tracy would not have lines to say, clothes to wear, sets to stand on, scene partners to act with, or a printed-out paycheque from accounting to put in his pocket.”
