Usher’s Wife Discharged From Hospital

Usher’s Wife Flies Home Alone

Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster Raymond, has been released and is seen here smiling as she catches a flight back to the US from the Airport of Guarulhos after recovering in Hospital Sirio Libanez in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Thursday(February 19).

She spent more than a week in hospital, recovering from a cardiac arrest while being anesthetized for a “simple liposuction” (she just had a baby two months ago). Husband Usher had gone to be at her side but left before her apparently as he is already back in the states.

I wonder why he didn’t fly back with her?

Usher Announces Ladies Only Tour

Usher’s obviously been working out in preparation for his upcoming “intimate” 15 cities sweep, Ladies-Only One Night Stand Tour and it’s very obvious that his mama is doing the flex now that she’s back in charge of her son’s career. What a great way to send a little message of whose the boss now to her daughter-in-law Tameka Foster?! Take her boy out on the road for a couple of weeks and have the audience be women only! *meows*

Usher told the Associated Press:

“There’s only a few artists that can pull that off,” he said. “I feel like I’ve had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?”

He added:
“The ladies like to see that masculine build, they question if I still got it.”

I think his mama’s still got it!

Usher and Tameka: Sitting in a Tree, K I S S I N G

ushertam.jpgUsher and his pregnant wife Tameka sat down for an interview this past week.”Ours is not a typical love story, but it is a true one,” Usher gushed. “Tameka and I have been fortunate enough to go through the thick of it in the beginning. We’ve had that opportunity to huddle up as a team, to make sure that we’re clear and speak as one voice.”

He went on to say how stunned they were at the negative press both received when their nuptials were post-poned.

“It was like, wow,” says Usher, “[Getting married] and having a child is something that everyone should celebrate. What’s happened to us as a culture and a people?”

Tameka added  – “Thank God I didn’t listen to my girlfriends,” she says. “Usher was my road dawg. I’d seen him love, and I’d watched him date women who were not worthy of him. He was so sweet, going out of his way to cater to their every need. And I’d see them not even be grateful.”

She heaped on more praise saying:

“I feel totally uninhibited with Usher,” Foster says. “I’ve never been in a situation with anyone, even as far back as high school, where there were no secrets. I know I can tell him anything and he’s not going to judge me. I can finally share my dreams. And because of that, I know that man loves me.
The proud father to be said:
“Tameka’s given me one of the greatest gifts I’ll ever have. “With a child, now I have purpose. I understand love.”

Isn’t that touching?
