Amy Winehouse is currently in hospital after being admitted for a possible chest infection says her rep. Last June she hopitalized for a severe lung problem, her father said it was emphysema from smoking crack and cigs but her people later clarified those comments, insisting tests showed she merely had early symptoms of the chronic respiratory disease.

Tracey Miller, her publicist told E! News about this latest stay in hospital:

“Amy is still in the hospital undergoing more chest and lung tests. She should be home in a few days.”

Victoria Beckham was snapped by photographers at LAX on her way to catch a flight to London on Sunday. For being a 34 year old mum of 3, she looks great! What I did notice about her after watching her show is that she also seems to be a genuinely good person. No news reports of her ever doing any excessive drinking, drugs/rehab, going commando or showing her private bits. She doesn’t sleep around with different men. She has been married for over 10 years and seems to take her marriage vows seriously as she and her hubby are still together despite the bad press with regards to him cheating on her awhile back.

She recently told the U.K. edition of Glamour: “I’m not pregnant, and I’m not trying to get pregnant at the moment I’m so lucky to have the boys (Brooklyn, 9; Romeo, 6; and Cruz, 3) and they’re such great kids. Nice, free spirits and incredibly polite, which I think is very important.”

She went on to say:

“It takes a lot of energy, and the thought of having another baby now would be a little bit much. Maybe in a year or two but right now, I’m having amazing career opportunities and I want to enjoy the boys.”

Yesterday, Beyoncé wowed her audience with her energetic performance at the Bermuda Music Festival in Hamilton, Bermuda. Today she was snapped by the paparazzi relaxing on the beach. Her body is still bootylicious for her baby Jay Z.

Beyoncé also recently revealed that she’s more than 70 songs for hew next album, which is set for release on November 18. Not sure how many of them will make the cut, we’ll have to wait and see.

Here they are attending a private screening of her upcoming film ‘Repo! The Genetic Opera’ held at the Abbey in West Hollywood last night. I don’t know what look they are going for but it is NOT working for either of them. They look like a couple of freaks for frig sake.

What is it about her? She’s dating him so she changes her whole look so that they look like they belong together? It’s kind of sad, I almost feel sorry for the two of them.

“2 days left of my shoot on Ugly Betty-I am quite sad to have to leave the wonderful cast and crew behind. It’s always sad to leave people that you get close to… It’s been such a delight to be a part of this show!!-My sister, Aliana, is visiting me on set today and I loooove having her around… she makes me smile, just like another certain someone love you baby xoxo”.

I had a chuckle when she called Palin media-obsessed, she’s a famewh**e herself!

Usher’s obviously been working out in preparation for his upcoming “intimate” 15 cities sweep, Ladies-Only One Night Stand Tour and it’s very obvious that his mama is doing the flex now that she’s back in charge of her son’s career. What a great way to send a little message of whose the boss now to her daughter-in-law Tameka Foster?! Take her boy out on the road for a couple of weeks and have the audience be women only! *meows*

Usher told the Associated Press:

“There’s only a few artists that can pull that off,” he said. “I feel like I’ve had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?”

He added:
“The ladies like to see that masculine build, they question if I still got it.”

Here are the Beckhams  at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday. David has an England match on Wednesday so perhaps that is where they are headed. Such a stylish family! Love her outfit, especially her handbag and shades. Father and son’s matching buzz cuts are soooo cute!

It’s also rumoured that David will make an appearance in China to participate in the closing ceremonies representing London along with Leona Lewis. London is to be the next city to host the Summer Olympics in 2012.

People quotes a source saying:

“David is going to be in the surprise finale. They always have a segment to do the handover, to showcase the next city to host the Olympics,” he adds he was very involved in the London bid to get it, and as a Londoner he is incredibly proud that the Olympics will be in London. He is passionate about it and looking forward to the games in 2012.”

The closing ceremony is slated for Sunday, August 24th at Beijing’s National Stadium.

Queen Latifah was the first female rapper to become a star as well as the first MC who could be described as a feminist. Her third album, Black Reign, was the first album by a female MC ever to go gold. She has since branched out into other media, appearing in movies and sitcoms and even hosting her own talk show. Though she has been away from the recording studio for awhile she still remains as one of the most recognizable woman in hip-hop.

She has another accomplishment to add to her resume. She joined the Jenny Craig diet program in January and has reached her goal of losing 20 pounds. Congrats girl!

“I’m not caught up in how big or small I am, some people say they’re a skinny person trapped in a big girl’s body and I’ve never seen myself like that. I just feel like I could get a little healthier, so why not?” she says.

Queen decided to diet after reading:

“I had read that if you lost 5 percent of your body weight, you could cut your chances of things like heart disease in half. Jenny Craig mentioned the same statistic to me, so we connected on a health level.”

Queen, intends to stick with the company on a maintenance program:

“I feel good. I don’t feel all bloated and tired after a meal,” she says. “I haven’t had to sacrifice anything that I normally eat, I just eat a little bit less of it.”

At her heaviest, 5?10? Queen Latifah weighed about 240 pounds. She is thrilled to weigh around the 195 to 215 pound range: “I don’t want to be skinny.”

JLo and her hubby celebrated her 39th birthday on Thursday by having a quiet night that included a Broadway show. Here is a picture of her dressed casually for their romantic evening together. She’s looking fabulous, motherhood must agree with her!

“We had such a blast last night,” Anthony, 39, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show Friday. “It’s almost like every day is her birthday … so last night we just wanted it to be quiet and, you know, have a nice quiet evening together.”

The two of them saw the Tony-winning musical “In the Heights” (about three days in an Upper Manhattan neighborhood), and got “to sit in an audience and watch other people be nervous,” Anthony said.

When asked if they planned on touring with their 5 months old twins Max and Emme:

“When your foundation is stable and you’re good, it doesn’t really affect anything. It just amplifies what the experience feels like. It’s that much more fulfilling, and you look forward to coming home. It’s a great time.”
