Adam Levine, held a private Halloween party for family and friends which was sponsored by EFFEN Vodka this past Friday night at his house in the Hollywood Hills.

He dressed up as Scottish knight William Wallace from Braveheart (originally played by Mel Gibson in the 1995 film).

Kirsten Dunst, dressed as Amelia Earhart and Adrian Grenier, dressed as a 1930’s pro golfer. Mischa Barton was wearing a huge cardboard Christmas tree cut-out costume with glowing green lights wrapped around her.

Not sure how he managed to swing a private party hosted by a vodka company, but it must be another one of those celebrity perks!

There’s just something about him I like.

Here again is Nick Jonas kicking off National Diabetes Month by attending the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles this afternoon. I didn’t see any pictures of his brothers, wonder if they were there to support him. I realize they don’t have to do EVERYTHING together, but for a cause such as this, it would have been nice to see them all there.

Nick, who at 16 is the youngest of the brothers, has a partnership with Bayer Diabetes Care. People can log on to Nick’s Simple Wins where they can find out some information that he has shared about his very own personal experiences living with diabetes.

Nick Jonas took some time off from the set of his new Disney Channel series, JONAS, to tape a Public Service Announcement on Juvenile Diabetes that will air this Sunday, November 2nd after the episode of Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream airing on the Disney Channel. It will share how he (a young teen) manages his own battle with diabetes

EW.com has invested funds on an exclusive look at the new series premiering on the Disney Channel in May 2009. Kevin, who is the oldest brother had this to say about the episode they recently filmed:

”We’re trying to cook Mom a special birthday cake. We destroyed our family’s home videos, so we have to find ways to make up those memories.”

Zac and Vanessa wowed their fans into a frenzy at a press conference in Mexico City last Thursday for their latest movie-musical High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Vanessa wore a gorgeous purple slip dress from Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent. It’ll be available in stores next month if any of you are interested!

Zac was recently asked what was the highlight of his entire HSM experience was and his reply to CosmoGirl was:

“I think that one of the moments that we all look back on as pretty amazing was in the first movie, when we filmed “We’re All in This Together.” We were all in our elements in that moment. It was the time of our lives and that was the beginning of it all. Another standout moment for the whole cast — I know it was for me — was the finale of the third movie, the very last thing we shot. It was very surreal to look at how far we had come.”

I was wondering what was going on (if anything) with Jessica Simpson’s comedy, “Major Movie Star” so I clicked around and found this little write up from Fox News:

“The “Private Benjamin” – like film has never opened here in the United States. But on October 9th, “Major Movie Star” debuted to top box office in… Russia.

While Jessica’s singing career transition into country star has gone pretty well so far, her movie credits seem to be getting worse rather than better. She’d be substantially better off, frankly, having a sitcom in which she can play herself.”

I wonder what if anything Jessica thinks when she reads such things like the above quote. The movie is about a bubble gum movie star who enlists in the U.S. Army because she is so broke - will have its next premiere in Bulgaria next month.

Jessica’s last movie, Blonde Ambition, went straight to DVD after being released in only eight Texas theaters.

The Jonas Brothers will soon know the meaning of the phrase ‘the sweet smell of success’ as they are going to be doing a movie about a farting dog.

The movie is based on the best-selling books about a dog who has a farting problem. The Jonas Brothers will be playing the roles of musicians and brothers (imagine that!) who have to take care of the hound with the tooting problem after their aunt dies. I know this sounds wrong on so many levels doesn’t it? Like seriously… they are going to take second billing to a dog that farts?!!

Peter Farrelly of The Farrelly Brothers will direct. The farting (filming) begins next spring.

I think I remember reading the book. Walter the dog was rescued from the pound and the kids were trying to keep him from going back. One night the family home was broken into and Walter’s farts saved the day!

Because farting is so…. hilarious.

Amy Winehouse is currently in hospital after being admitted for a possible chest infection says her rep. Last June she hopitalized for a severe lung problem, her father said it was emphysema from smoking crack and cigs but her people later clarified those comments, insisting tests showed she merely had early symptoms of the chronic respiratory disease.

Tracey Miller, her publicist told E! News about this latest stay in hospital:

“Amy is still in the hospital undergoing more chest and lung tests. She should be home in a few days.”

Amy Winehouse smiles as she gets ready to get into a cab with her friend Blake Wood to check into a hospital in London, England on Saturday. Something so sad and so wrong about this.

She was supposed to meet with the police earlier in the week with regard to her alleged punching of a fan last month. After she asked Amy for an autograph, Serene Flash is claiming that Amy punched her in the face!

Since she didn’t show up for the hearing she may be facing additional disciplinary action. Hopefully she’ll realize the seriousness of her bad behaviour. The timing of this latest stunt could be a major problem for her since her beloved Blaaaaake is due to be released this December. Imagine if she has to go to jail and he’s released, it may send her over the edge.

I wish she’d ease up on the makeup so I could just focus on the beautiful voice that she was blessed with. It’s reassuring to know that Britney’s not the only one who can rock a wig!

Hilary Duff put in an appearance at a Nina Footwear and Blessings In a Backpack event at P.S. 15, Roberto Clemente Elementary School on October 24, 2008 in New York City.

Blessings in a Backpack has produced more than 6 million meals donated to those in need. During the first couple of months after Hurricane Katrina hit, Hilary, working in partnership with USA Harvest, helped distribute over 2.5 million meals throughout the Gulf Coast. She bought and paid for the food along with a few partners. Through the Blessings in a Backpack program, Hilary is providing over 6000 meals every weekend at the Normandie Elementary School in South Central Los Angeles.

It is better to give than to receive and she must feel so good being able to help others less fortunate.
